How long will the curl stay when a curling iron is used?

The curl lasts a long time but there's a trick to doing it: You need to pull the straight hair through a hot curling iron to make it hot and pliable---it wont curl at this point, so dont worry. Then, as fast as you can, wrap the hot hair around a pink spongy curler or other type of curler and let it cool about 15 minutes. Unwrap and voila! your (fake)hair is now curly
