I've worked in the police and military in the past, and I had a very abusive childhood. Needless to say, I've always had some PTSD and lots of sleep issues. Ive tried antidepressants and they just made things worse for me. I've tried lots of sleep aids and they didnt ever help except to knock me out and I'd still feel tired all the time, even with trying melatonin. After some research and desperation, I finally found that a good bio-available magnesium complex (more than one form of magnesium) is really important for overall wellness and that it can help with sleep and calmness... After some research I went with this particular product because its from the USA and has a good combo of ingredients for the price. Here's the funny thing...when I finally got around to trying this stuff, it was 100% not the placebo effect when I realized it was working. I had also purchased a berberine supplement that I wanted to try for helping with possible insulin resistance. I wasnt paying any attention when I opened the bottle and thought I was taking the berberine to try that supplement first. My plan was to take the berberine and see if it caused me any gut distress or anything, and then 5 or 6 hours later, try this magnesium supplement. Fast forward a few hours and Im starting to feel calm...like really truly calm and content like I havent felt in years. I thought that was kind of weird and dismissed it as just having a relaxing day perhaps. I got up to go take what I thought was the magnesium this time around, only to discover that when I thought I had originally opened and taken the berberine supplement, that I had actually taken this magnesium supplement first, by accident. At that point I really started to think that this magnesium supplement is not all hype, but instead really works. I had no idea that I had already taken the magnesium supplement at first, and that rules out any placebo effect in my opinion. I also havent had dreams in years except the occasional nightmares. My first night after taking this stuff, I had really vivid, pleasant, and nice dreams. Im not saying that this is a magical cure-all, and Im sure that everyone's mileage may vary. Im not saying you will for sure be able to get off of anti-depressants or anxiety meds by taking this stuff...but who knows, maybe its possible. At the very least, Id imagine that adding this magnesium supplement to your routine can only help you. I keep my body very clean and I dont consume any sugar and Im on a low carb keto, mostly carnivore, diet as well. For me, this magnesium supplement is an absolute game changer though. I could seriously cry, my eyes water up while I write this...Even at my "normal", I have had a constant level of stress and anxiety most of the time and I put on a smile for everyone and no one knows, and as I mentioned before, this anxiety is thanks a combination of Army infantry and also my childhood. After taking this magnesium complex, I have felt such a level of calmness and peace that I cant ever remember having...at least not in the last decade. Again, I'm not saying this stuff is magic, but it absolutely brought me down from a constant 70% to 90% stress level, to what I feel like is 0% to 30% stress level each day so far...its a game-changer for me. Im only on day 4 of taking it. I hope that its effects dont wear off over time as my body gets used to it. Regardless, thank God for this supplement and the company who makes it. I did not know that I could feel this kind of peace. Perhaps my body chemistry has been out of whack and really missing out on these nutrients for a long time. This is a very good quality product that works for me. I’m 63 year old post menopause and I suffer from joint pain Since taking this for the past several weeks I have felt a big difference In the inflammation in my joints I have much improved mobility . I’m on my feet all day at work and I’m not nearly as achy anymore . I’ve taken magnesium in the past when I researched the need and benefits of multiple magnesium’s I decided to try this supplement. I’m sold I will continue to by this product I take it at night about an hour before bed I’m very pleased it helps me sleep as well.

What I love most about this magnesium complex is that it includes multiple forms of magnesium, so it actually absorbs well instead of just passing through your system. I also haven’t had any stomach upset or digestive issues.

This brand is one of the best magnesium supplements I have tried so far, especially with providing restful sleep and helping greatly reduce charlie horse muscle cramps. I do appreciate that it is chelated. I have used this product for quite awhile now, and for a long time it helped me to be very regular, but after about the 3rd bottle, I actually now experience frequent constipation and it seems to have completely stopped helping in that area (sorry if TMI). I did read recently that magnesium citrate can cause the body to become dependent if used long term. I am now only taking it a couple of times a week instead of every night, so hopefully that will be infrequent enough to not cause dependency.
