I have a Zojirushi rice cooker from 2010 that still works flawless to this day.So far this has been the same quality as I have expected. The sleep timer song slaps, adorable tune.A little pricey but if this is like other products it will last much longer than other brands.No complaints and a shockingly nice addition to the kitchen.

Always ready hot water

This little guy is amazing. My family uses an electric kettle constantly and a friend of mine suggested checking out one of these guys. Zojirushi is a brand that never lets me down, especially when it comes to rice cookers, so I went with this specific brand. Having hot water at the ready and not having to wait to boil is a game changer.I would highly recommend getting one of these if you always find yourself refilling and boiling water in your electric kettle. Yes, it is fairly pricy in comparison, but the convenience added is worth it in my opinion.

The media could not be loaded. This hot water dispenser does everything it says it does… and then some. Once this unit reaches its set temperature it plays a jingle that takes you back to Japan..If you’ve been to 7/11 or Lawsons in Japan you’ll understand.Otherwise this hot water dispenser has been a great addition to our home. Not only is it super functional. It boils water extremely fast. Maintenance and cleaning are just as easy as using a sponge and warm water.

This machine is a marvel. I’ve have a hot water dispenser for about seven years and when my old one died I treated myself to a zojiroushi. It’s beautiful. It doesn’t splash much (how does it do that?) It doesn’t drip. It sings to me when it’s done (but I actually turned that off because I fill it so often I don’t need to hear that going off all the time 🙄).But why doesn’t it have a light underneath so I can see when my mug is full? I wish it had the nightlight feature. It’s the only con I can see with the machine. 🙊

Zojirushi is a name you can trust. My water boiler/warmer works better than any electric kettle because of all of the features, and the reputation that this Japanese company carries, for me, is very important in purchasing anything. I love it and know that it will last for many years to come.

My last one lasted over 10 years. Hoping the new model is the same quality.Strong plastic smell for the first three loads. Undrinkable. Z should reconsider the material used. Luckily the smell did go away.With the taller model, one downside is that the water will splash if you refill while leaving the cup on the counter.

It looks very good, nice 👌, specially it made in JAPAN too.I will recommend it to anyone.

I bought this for my workplace so that my coworkers and I have a ready source of hot water for our tea, americano, instant noodles or general hot water fix.I’ve kept it running 24/7 for the last two months, refilling it with our filtered water and keeping the hold temperature at 195 degrees F (~90 degrees C) and have had absolutely had no issue with it including no hard water deposits or rust.I like that it’s simple to operate and has several useful settings including temperature presets for different teas and a timer function to auto turn off.It quickly boils water when I refill it so people don’t need to wait long for their hot water fix.Overall it’s an another great quality product from Zojirushi.My only complaints are:- Doesn’t have a quick release plug. Another model I have for my home has a quick release plug which not only makes it easy to move around (to refill/clean it or use it somewhere else), but also adds some safety in case someone tugs on the power cord preventing any accidental spillage of hot water.- Temperature labels are only in Fahrenheit… wish they can with another set of labels for use with the way more intuitive Celsius.

I’ve read the commentary of lots of people comparing this to a kettle. It is not a kettle, it is a device which provides instant boiling water. It takes a while to boil when refilled (~45min) but that’s because it only pulls 800Wh. While holding the water’s temperature it pulls around 35Wh. Consequently it is very quiet while boiling and does not risk tripping your breaker if you’re doing other things. Its dispenser is very high quality & does not drip. You can set a timer to delay boiling and it will be DONE for the time you set. Additionally there is no auto-off (aside of dry boil) because, again, this is a device which provides instant boiling water and not a kettle. It also sings! Highly highly recommend this device.
