Couldn't wait for these to be delivered so I could try them out. I've used my rusty old hedge trimmers to prune my ivy ground cover to death. They didn't cut, they ripped. I wanted something like them only hand held. I saw these and figured if they cut sheep with them it should do garden work with no problem. I was right. Blades are heavy steel with a great edge on them. Ground cover looks like I did the job whlith a sharp scissor. Grip is perfect for my hand. If you're on the fence about buying these, just get them. You won't be sorry.

I'm on my second pair. Great for trimming grasses and perennials. Also good for cutting landscape fabric and many other things. They can be somewhat delicate - my latest pair came with an extra spring. Store properly and don't leave out in the rain. Very sharp, handle with care and they will be one of your favorite tools.

Very sharp in cutting edges of my grass, however too heavy for long use.

These are outstanding quality yard shears. Perfect for my needs. I did buy a sheath as they are sharp and need protection. I wish an appropriate sized stealth was easily available.

I love these shears! They are nice and sharp and easy to use. As soon as they arrived, I used them to trim a bunch of vines and shrubs. Very easy to grab the plant with one hand a cut with the other. They cut smoothly and cleanly. Highly recommend.

Very sharp. Easy to use even though the blades are long. Points dulled quickly. Shears fell apart during first use because the screw and nut that holds them together came loose. Very disappointing.

Be forwarned. The nut that holds the two cutting edges together keeps coming loose. As a result, they will not cut right until you snug up that nut and this is every few minutes and this to me is very frustrating when trying to complete the job at hand. I was offered 50 % off another order. What so I give more money to them and still have the same issue. If not for this issue they would be worth the money I spent but it gets two stars from me. FOLLOW UP I DID RECEIVE A NEW PAIR BUT I THINK THE SAME THING WILL HAPPEN. If that nut would stay where it is supposed to they would be a 5 star because these things are sharp as a razor.
