It is a lot heavier than I expected so is a pain making my son's top bunk bed. The feathers have just started to escape, we've had it around 2 months & it seems to be shedding some. It is quite noisy.On the plus side, my son loves the duvet saying it is super snuggly warm but without making him sweat. You can't dispute the price either. There was a smell when it arrived so I aired it outside for the afternoon & it was fine.I think it's fine for the price but don't expect anything amazing.

The duvet is not heavy but is good at keeping us warm. The only downside is, and I don't know if it is just our duvet, is that a lot of the little feathers in the duvet are coming out. Each time we change the duvet cover, there is always some small feathers inside the cover. I'd be interested to know whether ours is an isolated case.

Lovely product if I wanted a king size duvet however i bought a superking so doesn't fit and can't return!!The package said superking so i assumed i needed to give it time to settle/spread being filled with feathers....it never did and the seller wouldn't allow a return as its been used. Such a shame as its a lovely duvet otherwise but have absolutely wasted my money as not fit for purpose.

If your looking for a heavy/weighted duvet like I was..this isn't it... it smells and does need airing and fluffing BUT...We love it! It reminds me of my grandparents snuggly duvet that rustled, kept you warm and snuggly. No feather loss or pokey bits. Best duvet we've bought in a long while and great value for money! We are as snug as a bug in a rug! Highly recommended

This duvet smells disgusting! So strong!! Had it professionally cleaned as soon as I recieved it but it still smells !! Unusable, staff at the shop even commented on the very strong smell!! Waste of money
