This was a game changer for an older shower we could not update. The shower head was low and I had to stoop down to use it. This extender solved the problem! Great product at a great price!

This pipe has a thicker wall compared to others that come with a shower head kit I also like the wall cover ring it has a rubber o-ring to keep in place good quality no burrs on treads nice paint finish now will texture and paint would buy again would recommend

Me, I love a nice shower. Most showers are angled so you can’t step out of the spray. This extension puts the head up higher and points straight down. I have made similar arrangements out of 1/2” pipe, this makes it easy. If you have good pressure, you’re golden. I mean good to go, not golden showers.

Gets shower head up much higher, and looks good.

Tried 2 different 10" shower arms. The first one had rough threads on one end and sent it went back. The second one had threads that didn't exactly match up with US threads. Taped the threads, screwed it in, no leaks. The cover plate uses an O-ring instead of friction fit to keep it in place, so no scratching the finish.
