I love all the Triton products I bought for my pegboard. They are built well, stronger than others, and the unique screw system makes them more secure than other pegboard hooks. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is because of the screws. They wouldn't stay in the pegboard. Kept falling out. So I searched through my extra screws and came up with some the exact same size that worked great. The difference is the screws that came with the product are rounded and the ones I found that work are totally flat topped. Don't know why that makes a difference but it's the difference between success and failure. So now I have to spend more money to go buy more of these flat top screws.

I have no idea what these other reviewers are talking about... This product is great. I currently have all my tools hanging up with them, they are sturdy and very easy to put up.Perhaps something that might throw you for a loop is in every package, there are screws for both sizes of peg boards. This is a very simple fix and a quick process of elimination should solve the problem of which size to use.The heaviest thing I have currently being held up is a large hand held router, this is probably 8-9 pounds and the case with the accessories adds at least 5 more pounds for a total of 13-14 pounds. This is being held up by this very type of hook that has *one* screw in it.Like I said, no clue what the other people did... or how they managed to screw this up, but it's simple, easy and awesome.I'm using regular peg board that I bought from a home improvement store, nothing fancy going on here.

I have ordered these hooks several times over the past few years. They have always been great. However, on the last batch I ordered, the screws will not tighten enough to hold the hooks in place. They provide screws for both 1/4 and 1/8 pegboard. I have 1/4 inch and am using the bigger screws, but they will not tighten. I have a few screws left over from previous orders and they tighten just fine. I don't know why they messed up a good product by changing the screws, but the hooks are worthless without screws that will hold properly. For the cost of these hooks, I would expect better. Go back to the old screws!

Solid & wide to hold 2 hammers or a rubber mallet comfortably. Bend the bottom tip in a little to make it hang more upright then attach with some thick stainless steel bolts, washers, & nuts and you could hang a sledge hammer on this. Only limited by the strength of your board, not these hangers.

Wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I purchased the hooks. Believe them when they say No to weed trimmers and the screws will not fit a metal peg board. Lesson learned

These hooks are great. I don't know why this isn't the standard setup for pegboard hooks.When I initially installed the first one into my 1/4" pegboard, the screw fell right out of the hole. I thought that I screwed up and ordered the wrong size. I then realized that there were bags of screws in the packaging. Two bags each containing 5 small screws and one bag containing 10 larger screws. The larger screw fits the 1/4" pegboard holes perfectly.

Nice, sturday hooks. Be aware that the hooks come with two bags of screws of different sizes. I first thought that the screws were useless for the Triton pegboard. Some instructions or a packing list would have saved me some grief.

If you don't want to have your pegboard hooks falling out when you remove what the hook is holding, then Durahooks are the ones to get. They are extremely simple to install and they aren't coming out unless you unscrew the screw anchor and take the hook out. These durahooks are ideal for using with pegboard (1/8" or 1/4" holes) in the garage or workshop to hold tools...including saws, wrenches, pliers, hammers or garden tools like shovels, hoes and rakes.Just install them and forget about them. This is how pegboard hooks should work. I highly recommend them to anyone. They cost more than the regular pegboard hooks but they are worth it.

Screw tear thru the peg board! Does not hold light weight!
