BraceAbility Counterforce Brace - Tendonitis Strap Support Band for Tennis & Golfers Elbow Pain

I developed a bit of tendonitis in my left forearm from hitting too many golf balls and the strap really helped in alleviating the pain. I was not afraid to take a full swing.. now that I have let my golf season go for a couple of months due to hunting season, the tendon feels great and that’s to this wrap, it kept my golf game moving forward ..

I injured my elbow working out and the injury was tennis elbow.While researching for something to help with the discomfort, I came across these band / braces. I was initially quite skeptical, but when I read how they work, and watched a YouTube video by a couple physical therapists, I understood the concept, it made sense and to try.This band / brace seemed like the best option and I discovered that it is VERY effective, however, for me, I have to tighten it to the point where it is too tight to get full effectiveness. I am tweeking how I use it and hope that I can find the sweet spot, because it relieves the pain.What these sort of band / braces do is change the pressure point and relieve the stress on the damaged area and they do it well. I am also massaging the area across the grain, something the physical therapist video demonstrated, which should result in a much stronger and long lasting heal.

I have purchased products from Braceability previously and loved them, but this product was so terrible I had to return it.I get that "one size fits all" is often not all encompassing. This would have been perfect had better quality velcro been used. I had no problem adjusting the inner velcro, but when it came to using the outer velcro, it was impossible to remove it without sliding it off my arm. It took a lot of force to get the outer velcro undone, and in doing so, it completely tore up the fuzzy part of the velcro.I'm struggling with Cubital Tunnel and trying to get this brace off my arm was not a good time. I definitely do not recommend this, especially not if you have pain and weakness in your arms.

I developed tennis elbow (through playing golf ironically) and the pain was pretty bad. I was told by my doctor to get a brace and honestly thought there was more to it that just this brace but I was wrong. I've been wearing it off and on for about a week now and the pain has gone down considerably! I'd highly recommend this brace for tennis or golf elbow.

Strap comfortable, wide and stays in place. However, the Velcro to hold the strap on is too strong. Very difficult to pull apart to take the strap off. One side of the Velcro is on an elastic part of the strap and stretches when trying to pull them apart. With my golfers elbow situation, it actually hurts my arm to pull it apart. Really have to yank on it and will rotate slide around my arm instead of coming apart. So I slide it down my arm to take it off. I pull it apart with a lot of effort even with it off. Sending it back.

As others noted, the Velcro is almost impossible to open without the help of another person when it is on your arm. Returned it and bought a different one.

I over did it at the gym and ended up getting tennis elbow on my right arm and golfers elbow on the left! LolThis brace allows me to position it to relive pain for either condition on either arm. My right arm is all better now and i still use it on my left arm when doing arm workouts

I have golfer's elbow. No, this won't cure it, it does help control it a little so I can still go to the course and swing the club. This brace is a good solid design. Robust, easy to put on by yourself.
