The media could not be loaded. This is a well designed product and ready for the mass market, instruction is clear and comes with everything needed to start printing. Laser is not a toy and if used incorrectly there will be serious injury and fire risk, LaserPecker have included the safety glasses and instruction is clear what need to be done and I strongly recommend read them twice before start. The same important instruction is also on the app and I love the way the app will not allow you to proceed until you enter a pin to confirm safety check is in place.The printer fit in the inside of my palm easily, metal construction and lovely brush metal finishes. I managed to power it via my powerbank through out my test and it comes with a 3 pin power adapter and a USB cable if needed. It connect to your phone via bluetooth, a small logo type of print takes a minute or so to transfer and 5 minutes to engrave. Max print size is 10cm wide like my family selfie in the demo video, that took just over an hour to engrave.I printed logo, photos on the included brown paper and result is sharp, it will not engrave on white paper so I guess it is colour dependent for it to work. Timber is fine and my light colour 3D printed plastic works too but will need experimental adjustment to make it perfect.The tripod is the only thing I did not like about this product, it did not want to work out of the box and after tightening the screws on the base and the legs it is better but for long term use I will seek alternative mounting system.

I have been thinking about buying a laser engraver for ages and so glad I got this model as it is so simple to use, the app is very easy to operate and lots of options to create some really nice results, all the different materials that you can engrave are listed so once selected the laser power is automatically set for perfect results.The feature I love the most is being able to select a photo from your phone and the app converts it into a top quality pencil art type drawing.The included tripod mounting system works really well and there is a 20cm wooden ruler included so it's easy to get the laser at the perfect distance from what you want to engrave.The preview function is very handy as that uses a very low power setting on laser to show where the outline will be on your surface before you start engraving so you can position things where you want.

I have been using the laser etcher for a few days now and I have to say I love it! The software is extremely easy to use and my results so far have been great. A bit of trial and error is needed to get things right but by having a trial run on a spare bit of material works well. The tripod it comes with is a little fiddly to line up and I had to tighten the screws on the legs to make it a little more stable. There is a handy ruler that comes with it that helps get the height right but it takes a bit of care to move the less to the height you want. Once you have got the height right that isn’t a problem unless you are planning lots of projects using materials of different thicknesses. With this in mind I have ordered the stand for it which I believe will be much more substantial and versatile. The goggles that are supplied with it are fine but I have also purchased the screens that go with it as an extra precautionThis is not a toy and I am wary of letting my grandchildren use it except under strict supervision but even so it will be easy for them to send me their own designs that I can etch for them.In conclusion I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in craft and design. Whilst it may seem a little expensive there is a lot of tech packed into it and I do think that it is competitively priced and is good value for money

After a lot of research I settled on this LaserPecker. I am a woodturner and wanted a Laser engraver to enhance my turnings; add decorative features & neatly sign my work. I had considered a CNC laser engraver, but the fixed nature of the laser meant they were not suitable for my needs. I have not experimented with cutting productsThis product is very versatile, I was really worried about the power of the product – would I need to make multiple passes to achieve the outcome I wanted – I needn’t have worried, it’s really powerful and I have been able to get a full range of burns – from a light brown to a heavy black; in a single pass; just by adjusting the power and depth settings (easy to do)The one draw back is the versatility of set up, you do have to be very careful that once set up, you do not disturb the laser or the item being engraved, this is a precision machine so any minor disturbance will show upThe software provided is very basic and really only intended to get you started – although it’s pretty good for pre-sets like lettering and pictures, if you want to get fancy – like put letters in a circle you will need some additional software, there is great support on Facebook from a LaserPecker group that can help.Overall – a very powerful laser engraver, that in a single pass can burn an acuate dark black signature on all woods (not black woods obviously!) does all that I want it to do, the only limitation will be my imagination.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this engraver is to use. The app is very self-explanatory and well-designed. Sensible security features are built-in, as well as reminders of the dangers of using a laser.The set-up for my first project was a little slow as I learned how the app worked, but the app guides you through each step. My second project was swift to set up and run. I first tried paper, and the second was wood; both worked surprisingly well.I have two observations; first, the tripod is not the easiest to use, but I believe there are plans to change this. My second observation is that you need to pay attention to the grain of the wood because if there are thick strips of grain in the wood, the laser can't burn into them.This engraver is a straightforward and self-explanatory product, and I think worth the price. Get one and enjoy the creative process.

Die Bedienung mit der App ist intuitiv und leicht verständlich.Bei der Einstellung der Entfernung des Lasers zum zu gravierenden Produkt muss auf die passende Entfernung von 20 cm geachtet werden. In der Lieferung ist ein Lineal enthalten, dass das Ganze vereinfacht.Toll Investition und der Aufpreis zu anderen, günstigeren Geräten lohnt sich.
