Purchased as a gift, alot of great information.

Contains a lot of information. The only down fall is I wish I had more information about feed. It has little to their diet.

The book is really nice and detailed and even if you are an advanced owner/rider I think this is a great book to have. The reason for my 4 star instead of a 5 is because the cover was filthy. I swore I bought a NEW book and I went and checked and my "receipt" says new but I think it was pre-owned. Which is fine, but tell the buyer that it was pre-owned.

I purchased this book to have out near my horse in case of emergencies and I have found that I spend a lot of time reading it anyway and found a lot of interesting things in it that I watch for now

This is the book I was hoping to get. I needed a horse book for dummies, but I think this could be great for any level of experience. I love the charts and tables for guidelines!

This book is very informative. Exactly what I hoped to learn about horses.I was disappointed that it does say that horses aren’t smart in the beginning, as someone else reviewed. Maybe the author should have compared the intelligence level to something else instead of a generalized statement. I also didn’t like how it says horses evolved this and that. I don’t believe in evolution but If you do you won’t mind it. The pictures are beautiful. Very happy with this purchase in general.

incredibly detailed, clear, well written book. i bought this second hand and with only a few minor scuffs in the corners, i couldn’t be more pleased. the book is so interesting and has such a wide variety of content. i would recommend this to anyone interested in horses as well as kids and adults. disclaimer this book is not about riding so if you are look for a book distinctively about riding this might not be what your looking for but on the other hand it’s still a good book to have for anyone who has a horse or is interested in horses. 5/5 from me!

I gave this book to my horse-loving granddaughter for Christmas. Not sure how far she has got in reading it, but she was very thrilled to receive it. Arrived promptly and a very reasonable price for something with so much information it it. Thank you.

My 13 year old daughter bought this book she is really enjoying it has lots of information that she finds interesting.
