Norvell Premium Spray Tan Solution Venetian Plus 8 fl oz – Professional Sunless Tanning Formula for Deep Natural Bronze Glow, Streak-Free, Fast-Drying, Long-Lasting Color

I purchased this to use as a spray tan solution in a little spray bottle. I apply it with a tanning mitt. This solution is very nice. It provides a beautiful, rich tan. I have light skin and this does not look too dark or fake on me. It is very important to exfoliate well and remove any body hair prior to application, otherwise it will look uneven, scaley and blotchy. It has a guide color to show you where you have applied, then the tan starts to develop over the following hours, however, I begin to see the dark tan develop within an hour or 2 and it continues to develop more from there. It has a nice purple/bronze tone to it and it does not look orange at all. It really is a beautiful, rich, dark natural looking tan. I believe it is compatible with all skin tones as my skin is on the lighter side when I dont have a natural tan, and it never looks fake or too dark on me. It looks very natural and dark and blends seamlessly when applied correctly. It lasts a good amount of time, too. Everyone is different, but after about a week is when I scrub it all off and start all over with a fresh application. Some people may be able to keep it on longer with no issues, but after about a week is when it's time for me to get it all off and start again, but that may be because I shower everyday and wash and exfoliate my skin daily because my skin gets sweaty and dry. I have noticed that it also looks nice if you touch up in between full applications. For example, 3 days after the initial application if you wanted to apply some more to add some more color then you can. It doesnt mess up the tan or make it look patchy or gross. I have used some products in the past that just don't look healthy if you touch up in between applications, but this stuff does look nice and doesn't make it look like you have a skin disease.

Pros: perfect color for me. Tanners tend to make cool-toned skin look orange, but this one looks very natural. It fades nicely, not patchy or streaky. It dries very quickly and doesn’t leave me looking “dirty” while its on. I had it on the other day and my husband didn’t know until I told him. The smell isn’t too noticeable. You get so much more for the price compared to regular tanners. I bought an 8oz bottle and I’ve barely used any in the last 2 tans. Mixes really well into lotion to make a gradual tanning lotion in between tanning days. Cons: you have to have a way to put it on since its technically a tanner for a spray machine. I used a spray bottle, but it drips pretty quickly and I end up overspraying and having to clean it up in my bathroom 😆 I did get a foam bottle off amazon that I’m going to try next time. Because it dries quickly, you have to make sure you blend it quick so you don’t get streaks. And since it blends well into the skin, you have to make sure you are getting a good coverage so you don’t get streaks. This might change once I use a foam version, so idk. All in all, I don’t see myself trying another brand. I really like this one. I leave it on my face, hands, and feet for about 1-1 1/2 hours and the rest of my body for about 3 hours and I get a pretty decent tan that isn’t too over the top IMO. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My go to spray tan for YEARS. I’ve ordered this countless time. Has a green base so it give you a nice tan and not orange. Can layer it but for me one coat is perfect. As far as scent, it has the regular spray tan scent but it is not unpleasant at all.

I love this solution! I have been spray tanning for over 5 years now and have been through multiple other solutions and this is by far the best--the smell is amazing, there is no sticky feeling and the color is beautiful,

I love the color this tanner gives me. I put it in a foam dispenser bottle, I used an old Loving Tan bottle. The tan is great and it lasts a decent time compared to other tanners I have tried. However, the smell after developing is horrible. Like old crusty fritos or something. I hate hate hate the smell. Afterwards like days after washing it off if I sweat at all the smell comes out of my skin. It's a strong smell too so other people can smell it. I'm not sure if this is just something to do with my natural body chemistry or if it is the tanner itself. I don't have this experience with other tanners though. Also the fade off of this is pretty bad splotchy and makes your skin look pretty gross in certain spots. I am not sure if I will use it again. I love the color but the smell is gone now and I really don't want to have to smell like that again for a nice fake tan. I can get a similar color with other tanners that don't smell like that. So most likely I wont be using it again. If however the smell was specific to how it just reacted to my body chemistry then the tanner would be super worth it if you want a super dark nice looking tan.

I absolutely love this product. I’ve only used it once so far but the results are amazing! No orange tint, not greasy, didn’t stain my sheets.

I use this in a spray bottle don’t need to get a spray tan !

I NEVER leave reviews...good or bad....however, I would think there would be girlies like me that need to know more before they stain the skin on them today. Meant for a sprayer, but put just a small amount like an ounce in a foaming bottle, apply with latex gloves, smooth out with a tanning brush and wa-la you have a wonderful, not sticky or smelly fake tan! I have used st. Tropez for years....all of them...and I liked them but lately they had been wearing off patchy so I looked for a solution and this is it! I have olive skin so I was worried about the violet base but it is natural and perfect darkness. St. Tropez has a very dark guide color and this does not, but there is enough of one so you can see to make sure you're all covered. 2nd time using it and I am very happy to say I have found my new self tanner. Does not transfer either. I left on 1st time for 14 hrs and this time for 12 (slept in it both times) . Says to leave on 18hrs for optimal but life wouldn't allow that and it was fine. Will definitely plan on next time leaving on for the 18 and see the difference. 100% recommend.

Best tan I've ever used! Doesn't go patchy and it's easy to scrub off when it's wearing off

This is the brand of tanning solution my local spray tan salon uses and it’s the absolute best. I was so happy I was able to get my hands on this at a decent price. The bottle is small, but will last you as a decent amount of time. I put this solution in a bottle that dispenses out like foam. Perfect at home self tanner, lasts about a week and the colour is amazing. Make sure you let it dry before wearing clothes or doing anything and rinse off the following day for a perfect tan! Will be buying again :)

I’ve used Norvell products for years now. I typically order the self tanning foam. However this time I decided to test out the spray tan formula in my old foam dispensing bottle. 10/10 recommend it worked out the same and gave me the same if not better darker results. This product is great for people with fairer skin since it had a violet undertone base. I don’t see why you couldn’t use it in any old foam dispensing container with a tanning mitt. Just make sure to really rub in every ounce of product since it’s a more concentrated product.

Great color! Very natural with no orange tones. Can use in air style tanning machine or a use in a foam bottle for direct application. Both ways of application blend out nicely with this product! Highly recommend!

Don't really get the 5 star reviews. I'm naturally pale but had a decent base tan and this just turns out with the same kinda orange tint that most tans have. Also by the second day it was breaking up in my chest area and around parts of my arm. Really unimpressed.
