Gill AthleticsIndoor Softshell Shot

I haven’t used it yet but I does weigh properly using a kitchen scale. I’m looking forward to trying it out in competition if we ever have any indoor meets. The red color is good. Arrived only one day later than expected using free Prime shipping.

Our guys love the size and feel of the shot but not durable at all. Used for only 1 week of indoor practice and it busted open during a meet!! I expect a lot more from Gill. We could have gotten one for half price but went with the Gill expecting better quality.

Arrived on time and in great condition. Just weighed in at Nationals 7.261k which is as tight as it gets.

The outside has quite the interesting feel, very 'squishy'. Quality is good, and shot did not leak after first use.

Biggest rip off ever. My son went through indoor track season with this ball and he managed to make states. For some reason the league never weighed the balls until the state meet. That was when we learned that this “12 pound ball” actually weighs 14 pounds. Thanks to this company for robbing my som of a medal. I’m disgusted. This product doesn’t even deserve 1 star

This shotput worked well for about two month, and then it split open. It was used for indoor practice in a gym and was not subjected to any outdoor conditions. My expectation was that it would last longer than two months. A return was denied by both Amazon and the seller.
