It looks like they made a few upgrades but overall is just like the Estes model, they even have a balsa wood nose cone with the eye screw for the cord. It comes in a box with all the parts cut out already. Everything looks to be just right and the instructions are very clear. I can't wait to start building this one again. I have been looking for this for a long time. Good, detailed instructions are very helpful for construction and flight preparation. The embossing on the surface detail panels was poor but I did not need them as I was modifying the kit to resemble the Mars Ascent Vehicle, from the movie The Martian.
