nice long handle
This brush was great for my use, which was cleaning the grout of my ceramic tile bathroom floor. I really liked the fact that you could adjust the handle length, suitable to yourself, so that you could stand while using the brush. Although you still had to exert some effort, it was much easier on the back and knees. The brush bristles are very stiff and resilient, so I don't think they will wear down fast. The handle is not flimsy and should be able to take a lot of pressure with pushing the brush. Worked great on my floor.

Easy and effective
No more getting on my hands and knees with an old toothbrush to clean grout. This brush is so easy to use and effective with little effort and a little Dawn dish soap and water. Cleaned up the grout lines in my kitchen without abrading my Italian ceramic tiles (yes, I was certainly careful as brushes are quite rigid).

I was skeptical...
I ordered this to try to clean my kitchen floor grout lines. I have 12x24 white ceramic tiles with medium grey grout lines. The floor is beautiful, but the grout lines were dirty from my husband using the same dirty Bona pad to clean it weekly- just transferring dirt and grime. I also recently moved to a septic-safe way of cleaning the house by using peroxide instead of bleach. I used baking soda, peroxide, and regular dish detergent. First I squeezed peroxide on all the grout lines and left it a few minutes to run an errand. I returned and collected a bucket of hot soapy water and sprinkled baking soda sparingly in a few places. I would dip the brush in the soapy water and use a little baking soda tor scrub the grout. The brush required very little effort and stayed within the lines well. I figured I would need to do this again to truly clean it so I did not apply a heavy effort. After cleaning all the lines, I used a clean bucket of hot water and a clean regular mop to clean up the baking soda, soap and peroxide. When the floor finally dried, WOW!!! I could see my grout and it looked as clean as the day it was installed!PROS:- The brush is easy to use, strong and sturdy once extended. Saves my back and knees- Allows the ability to scrub and get results with minimal effort.- Shipping was fastCONS:- Difficult to figure out the extension process. If you are going to get these in bulk and sell the product without packaging, at least add a NOTE with directions for using. I had to figure out some things by trial and error. like how to keep the pole extended.- It's too expensive! Aside from the reinforced pole, the product is not worth $40 at all, it should cost no more than $15-20CAUTION: The peroxide cleaned the tiles well, however, it stained my hardwood nearby so be careful if you have a mix of floor types... peroxide will damage the finish on some hardwood.

Great grout cleaning tool!
This is exactly what I was looking for! The bristles are stiff enough to get the dirt out of the grout. The bristles are cut at an angle which allows them to get deep in grout lines with ease. The telescopic handle is much more rigid than I thought it would be. I thought it would be flimsy and cheap but it definitely seems to be a quality handle.

Great product,
For a person who can no longer get down on her knees, this brush is a boon! The bristles are cut in such a way that they stay in the groove of the grout making scrubbing easy. They are also strong bristles and hold up well against the grout. This broom made cleaning my kitchen grout easy.

Great stiff bristle brush
I needed a stiff bristle brush to remove stubborn grout stains. After trying brushes from big box stores, I saw this one on Amazon. This brush is great and I highly recommend it for anyone needing a stiff bristle brush.

Handle will not extend
DO NOT BUY. This is a friggen peice of junk. I was unable to extend the handle, even though they give instructions on how to extend the thing, which I folowed. I can see from the reviews, I’m far from being the only person with this problem. I tried banging on it to loosen it and jerking the assembly up and down. No result. There is no way to gain leverage on the pole when you need to loosen it, since the handle was tightly torqued down. If you do buy this thing and are lucky enough to get the handle to extend, leave it that way. Don' mess with it. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

Good Option
I haven't had any problem like some of the reviews mention. The only reason I rate it 4 instead of 5 is...for me at least...I think a bit more work should be done on the tip so that it goes in the groove and stays there more easily. I know why they did it the way they did...so it could work with different size grouts...but it would be better for them and us if they would instead make brush options to ideally fit and stay on the grout you're actually working on best.
