I have a GMC 3500HD that I use to pull a 43' 5th Wheel camper. The fenders on the Dully make it difficult to reach the 5th wheel hitch to connect/disconnect the kingpin. Regular ladders don't work, I have a small pull-out side-step that doesn't work, etc. Hitching and unhitching has been a pain to say the least. This step works perfectly. Out of the box it fit over the outside dually tire. No adjustments were needed. I was surprised at how easy it was to use this step and reach the hitch levers and locking pins without having to touch the side of the truck. The build quality is excellent as well. It has good traction that makes it safe to use in bad weather and it folds up in seconds making it easy to store in the bed of the truck when not in use.The only thing to keep in mind is that when using it to hitch a trailer, you have to remember to take it off of the wheel. It goes on so easy, I could see someone in a hurry pulling away without removing it. I think a pull-away issue is less likely to happen when using the step to service the engine since tools and other stuff has to be put away when the project is done. The mechanic's focus is on the truck. When preparing to depart with a camper there are a lot of back and fourth tasks that need to be completed. The step is made out of steel. It would cause serious damage to the truck body if someone was to move while it was on the tire. Hopefully this isn't a problem and everyone remembers, but I would recommend creating a checklist or something that reminds the driver to verify the tire step is stowed.You cannot go wrong with this step no matter what your use case is. The build quality is excellent. It is sturdy, the steps have fantastic traction, and it installs and folds down in seconds.

This is a bit overkill for me, however, I wanted something very stable and strong. This definitely serves those purposes. I have a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness, and it woks perfect. Yeah, there is not as much room in the wheel well as you might have in a large truck, but with some careful maneuvering it slides right in and works fine. I've set the tire width to the minimum and the step height to the second from the top, and I can now easily and comfortably reach my bike and paddle boards on the roof rack.

This step is excellent. It fits very securely over the top of the rear tire. I have a dually and was concerned there would be a fit problem but there is not. The height is adjustable too. No more climbing on top of the tire to reach the fifth release on the bed. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Our 2022 Ram 1500 is rather tall, even for me and I'm 6'2", so reaching the center of the windshield can be a stretch. Slip this step over the front wheel, step up and you're at windshield level for fast easy cleaning or snow removal in the winter. Have also used it on our rear wheels to access and tie down things in the truck bed rather than climbing in the bed. Easily folds up for flat storage and then flips open when you need it. It seems quite sturdy and feels secure when in place. I would suggest centering it on the wheel because the little rubber bumpers/spacers don't like being crooked but otherwise a great value for the convenience it offers. Would definitely buy again.

I seen someone using one of these on a tik tok and had to have it! It works perfectly and makes it so nice to be able to work under the hood of a taller truck. I have 35’s and 33’s on two trucks and the size is nice for both of them, along with the adjustability you have on it. It seems durable but also folds up nice and small that it fits in my tool box.

We love to camp. We currently pull a 5th wheel. When hooking up or u booking from the hitch in our truck bed, my husband would always have to use the tire as a step. We aren’t young and flexibility like we used to be. This step is the best thing ever. Just open, lay on the tire and instant solution. He also uses it to change the oil in his truck.
