This coffee was a birthday present to myself. It was one the best quality coffee brands I ever had. It's very costly so we only drink it on weekends but well worth it! It's so smooth, with just the right balance, not too acidic, not to strong, not too weak, not bitter. It's the perfect goldilocks coffee. If it were not so pricey I would be drinking this everyday! Kona coffee is the by far the best coffee in the world!

Definitely top shelf 100% Kona Coffee! Perfect Roast a super low acidity for a medium Every morning I grind this coffee and set up my drip system. Everyone and I mean everyone in my house is lining up with their cups to get some of this, works great with half n half or creamer and you can still taste the coffee notes beyond the creamer, even black this is a superb coffee! This is not a blend as Kona coffee is required to be 100% from Kona, any other Kona blend means it meets the minimum 10% on Kona mixed with other, this is 100% Kona as I've investigated several other brands, the size of this coffee easily justifes the price. Can't wait to try out Kona Peaberry coffee that Blue Horse sells. All in all buy it and you won't be disappointed.

Kona Peaberry has been my favorite bean for 20+ years, so I may be a little more critical here. While tasting good, it feels a little high for a 12oz bag, but then again Peaberry is much rarer, only consisting of about 5% of the crop. The beans are probably around a grade 85, which is still a good coffee bean, just not quite that specialty grade. The flavors are a little muddled, a little sour forward and a tiny hint of nutty caramel; there is just a feint aroma. I really like their regular Kona coffee and drink it daily. At the subscribe price it's worth it when you compare to taste/quality/price to Starbucks. It could just be a QC issue (or Amazon warehouse) on their end as well, 1 out of 3 bags of coffee from them is vacuum sealed showing no signs of off gassing any more.

Gabe as a gift to a coffee drinker. She said it was some of the best coffee she has ever had. A little expensive IMO but you get what you pay for.

Update: I decided to make a bean sorting device to figure out how much of my 12oz of "Kona" coffee was malformed broken beans. The results are 43% of 12 oz were bad. Approximately 5oz of 12 was bad. You can see the chaff in the 2nd picture in the upper container. Strong taste of sour beer, (usually an indicator of high quaker content) confirmed by visual inspection. Looks like 25% quakers, feels like a scam. 100% nasty. By comparison a well known Brooklyn brand had 1 quaker in the same sized handful, and is half the price. Absolutely not worth the hype. Buy a cheap medium or light roast, and remove the quakers by hand if you want what this is probably supposed to taste like. Also stans, take a hike.

Absolutely delicious, smooth rich taste with low acidity. Who needs a spa day when you can relax and unwind any time you wish with a nice hot cup of pure kona? This is my "treat yo'self" indulgence.
