best of The Ahriman Trilogy
Puja Guha’s writing has become more focused with each subsequent novel. The author uses words sparingly to convey concise images, only those necessary to keep the reader enthralled and moving along with the protagonlst(s); there are no side trips, or detours along the way to the unexpected but much anticipated conclusion of the story she spins. I lament that there will not be a 4th book, in the 3-book series?

Thriller indeed
Your writing is great. I would have preferred a twist in the tale but the romantic in you got the better of you. Still an enjoyable read.

Intriguing action thriller
An absolutely enthralling action packed thiller. This is a well written and complex novel that weaves past events smoothly into today’s action. Excellent compelling characters that sweep you through this excellent thiller. Buckle in and enjoy the ride!

Enjoyed it
Excellent writing and enjoyed the execution of the plot. Only one thing I would pass on to the author...I’ve noticed in all three of th Arimian books you frequently repeat how Petra wishes she could tell Kashem about her past and laments what she’s done etc. it gets a bit tedious to keep reading about it. Kashem too. Please keep writing as you have quite a gift.

Beware or Be Dead
The story was very interesting. You were kept on edge as if you were there with Petra and Kareem. You will find it hard to put down.

Entertaining romantic thriller
This stand-alone novel is part of a larger series based on the two main protagonists, Petra and Kasem. Both are former CIA field operatives, and this history gives author Puja Guha a lot of potential material to work with. And she does so to good effect in Resurgence of the Hunt as Petra and Kasem are recruited for an off-the-books mission to capture a notorious black-market arms dealer. Although the relationships between the five or six main characters is a bit contrived and unbelievable, the plot certainly holds water and could easily be ripped from tomorrow’s headlines. This book is as much a romance as it is a thriller, and at times the romantic tension overwhelms other elements of the story. Whereas the scenes involving spy craft are well done, the action sequences are thin. Still, this is an entertaining story that should appeal to a broad audience. I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book, through Reading Deals, and I gave an honest review.

Spy thriller and action
Travel the world to catch the bad guy. Complexity makes for spies to come together and work their best to outsmart this one.

Good pacy thriller
Well written - there are times when the pace flags. Plot occasionally is suspect.

Unreal and avoidable interludes
The happenings are unbelievable that the team of Rachel has everything going their way, but for a few hitches. The romantic interludes occupying considerable length are irritating. Any comparison with Ludlum and the likes is far-fetched.
