**Q: Does this have a charger?**
A: From my own experience, I bought 2 of these units and put both of them thru their paces and they both passed without issues. That said, I used fresh alkaline batteries and after hours of use (about the equivalent of at least 8 full CDs) on both players, neither one drained the batteries and today, still power up and play just fine. (I used Rayovac) Just saying...

**Q: what size batteries does this take?**
A: It takes AA batteries, but I do not recommend it because mine didn't work properly.

**Q: After reading reviews,i'm confused. Does this player come with a cord to plug in and charge or play?? and does it come with batteries??**
A: No it does not come with a cord to charge or play. It takes batteries. Usually two batteries

**Q: When it's turned off and on again, will it resume where it left off?**
A: No does not return to where it left off - but otherwise great player!
