Reaching back to attach to the D ring of your harness is, or can be, a pain in the arse! This extension is perfect and no more having to manipulate your arms like gumby to find the D ring in the top middle of your back! Well worth it!

I have not used it but from appearance, it looks well made and will work when the time comes.

It makes it very easy to attach your fall arrest harness to your break away lanyard. This additional length clipped onto your dorsal ring, makes clipping in and out a breeze.
