While I returned these, I felt they would be helpful for knuckles or toes. I needed fingertip protection and they broke quickly while using them. They would probably be okay as finger tip protection while wearing gloves on top of them.

Gave as a gift to another person

In other one-size-fits-all brands I have to use the thumb size cot on my finger otherwise the compression cuts off my circulation. These fit mens large finger size better than other brands but the silicone material could be improved. After the first soap and water wash the silicone became very sticky to touch. To me It feels like the silicone material is degrading.

I rarely post reviews. I needed these finger protectors (man size), to go over a dressing on a very painful septic finger. To keep dry and clean. I've used the normal size before, but fingers never been this swollen or sore. I'm a dog groomer and this was a hair splinter!The female size are fine but would not stretch enough. Will be good when swelling down and only a plaster needed.These, however, fit my large female hands without a dressing and also stretch enough that I could pull it over the sore finger without any pain, yet are snug enough to keep water out without a big dressing. Good for covering a fabric plaster or bandage. Have found that even waterproof bandages with extra handwashing, sanitiser soak through too quickly. So these cover well over the top so christmas cooking and baking is easier and more hygenic. Need cutting at top to slide over finger and a bit big though.

Had to wear a finger splint after I broke a knuckle in early November but had trouble keeping it dry and fresh. These silicone tubes have been perfect for this job. They will wear out with repeated use but are easily affordable to replace. Only use, as required, for short periods.
