My 8 year old tends to do a lot of work on the floor (coloring, writing, crafts) and we bought this to help ensure he's not hunched over all of the time. He likes it. It also allows him to stay near us when we're on the couch. He finds it comfortable to work on and we feel better that he's not hunched over which is good for his back, hands, and eyes.

Love the natural wood material, love how strong it is and it is perfect for portable use to do school work on.

I bought this lap desk for my 9 year old grandchild. She loves it. I was impressed with the quality and she can use it anywhere. It is the perfect height for her to work on ....either on her bed or the floor watching tv. So much more efficient that a lap tray table. You will not be disappointed.

Nice quality small table for the kiddo

Great quality desk. The wood is beautiful, and there is room for my 6 year old daughter to fit her legs underneath. We will get a lot of use out of it. I was hesitant to spend the money, but it is much nicer and more solid than plastic options.

Love this desk! Bought it to work with my son on developmental skills! Supports his weight when attempting to stand on his own. Doesn't tip over and is not flimsy. We also use it for working and eating on. So many great uses!Very sturdy and strong!

So disappointed! First time it was cracks on the bottom so got a replacement and then the second time was worse than the first one - cracks on top! Disappointed and wouldn't recommend this, perhaps lakeshore might be a better option.
