VillaWare V5555-11 MICKEY Mornin Toaster

I bought this toaster at a local grocery store 6/7 years ago. It has served it's purpose well. It's fun, Mickey Mouse all up in my face for breakfast. Matches well with my collection of Mickey Mouse mugs.My sound chip hasn't died yet, and I'm thankful for that, but wouldn't be surprised if in the near future it were to go out. I'd find it time to invest in a new toaster by then anyways. It's not a heavy duty or sturdily built toaster. I'm surprised I've even had it this long.One issue I have with it though is if it's left plugged in for a few days, it has a tendency to EJECT my toast when it's finished. I'll turn around to my jingle and find my toast laying over the counter. I've also heard electrical humming coming from it if it's still plugged in. So for safety now I only plug in the toaster when I'm going to use it, then promptly unplug it after the jingle; if I pull it before the jingle is over it stops! No one wants that.This set up works for me personally. When it's kicked the bucket, I'll mourn a single tear and happily toss it in the trash for the next cool Mickey toaster I can get my grubby Disney fanatic hands on.

I Had To Search And, I Found This First Toaster! I'm Very Glad The One I Gotten Here And, It's Just Like The One I Had Over 11 Years Ago! I Love It!!!!!

Worst product I received from Amazon was very disappointed. It smoked when plugged in and was a fire hazard. Im still waiting for my refund. This is the second Mickey toast I have bought. the first one I bought from the Micket store brand new for $40.00 and my mom loved it and I was trying to buy her friend one.

I rather liked the Mickey image on my toast and hearing the happy music when they pop up --- what I don't like is that you have to finese the knob down just right to get it to engage. After loosing my temper on countless mornings, the lever bent easily and the knob popped off. I bent it back and am looking for a new toaster

Mine doesn't sing! It has a few spots that needed to be cleaned better. Does toast any toast added. But didn't sing Mickey Mouse clubhouse theme song at all

Every morning is a great morning, with the Mickey Mornin' toaster. The first toast went awry -- there must have been some light plastic detritus inside, as the odor was carcinogenic. After three toasts, back to normal -- a great looking Mickey branded into your toast, an amusing (for how long?) jingle to celebrate the toast, and an amusing and novel experience for you and your children.

One of the best toasters I have ever owned and I have had a number of high end toasters! What a fun and cheerful way to wake up in the morning for the kids as well as the adults. In fact, I think my husband is having the most fun with it. This toaster toasts evenly and quickly. The pop up mechanism works great even with heavy bagels. Mickey's face is clear. It's a keeper!

I bought this toaster over 10 years ago for my grandchildren and it just went out. They loved it and now being teenagers when it went out, they were kind of sad for old mickey.From the reviews the company that use to make it no longer does.It is a shame that folks who had purchased this toaster are having a short life span with it.Why do companies cut corners with products to save money makes no sense to me.10 years ago 5 stars, now I will keep my money in my pocket. Too expensive to take a chance.
