They are comfortable and soft, and not hot. With my other pair, I've not experienced any issues with tearing or anything. Remember they are $24-$30 so you can't expect the highest quality but, I've also never had an issue 😊. I ordered black ones for this pair. Though they're black, I'd call them like a very dark charcoal shade of black. Not a good stark black unfortunately. Shipping too was VERY slow. It was a prime item but took like a week and a half. Barely came in time for my new bed in my new apartment (these are the only sheets I'd have right now). I love the sheets but just not happy with shipping and color shade, so this is the reason for 4 stars.In my photo, the top item is my black comforter, bottom is the sheet - you can see the different shades. I put these sheets on my bed for the first time Nov. 4. After six weeks (alternating with other sheets, washing after every 5-7 days on the bed) they are basically unusable. I have never had sheets pill so badly in my life. I've been using a pill shaver on them to try and mitigate my losses but I'm going to just throw them away rather than washing them again.
