Good quality as all other Nerf guns.. it’s fun and easy to use for an 8 year old..Although the price on the box is Rs 2299/- and not 2499/- which needs to be corrected by seller on the site

Nice (Made in India)
Looks wise exactly like in picture. Made in India engraved stamp on the plastic. The rotating drum comes seperate that you have to fix in the gun (which is very easy). Once it is fix you can't put gun again in the box. So if you are planning to gift it, keep this in mind. Gun is study. Gets stuck on and off, but it's ok. Don't take it if child is less than 7 yrs (recommended on box is 8+) bcz it needs considerable force to pull the front piston. Just manageable by 7 yrs old and more comfortably by 8+. But I think it would be very difficult for <6 yr.Accuracy of aim is ok.. not great. Even if the bullets are soft they leave small dent mark on paint if shoot from very near. So avoid firing on wall from close distance. Firing on body is strict NO. 15 bullets loading is quite good bcz you don't have to laod again and again, but some bullets slots are in the hidden part of drum and then you have to rotate it manually to load. Once loaded it's fun for next 15 shots.Overall definitely a good gun to have.

AMAZING GUN BY NERF
The nerf surge fire is a good gun I enjoyed playing with this gun. It comes with slam fire action that will make you feel that you are holding a real sniper. My only concern is that it is a little hard to load. There are a few flaws like sometimes the bullets do not fire.(When the package arrives the barrel is under the gun and you have to install it)

One of my favorite Nerf Blasters
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. ******** Quick Rating ********Pros:- Feels great to use.- Long range blaster.- Uses N-strike Elite darts.- Quite accurate.- Reliable blaster, even when slam firing.- Tactical rail on top- Multiple connection points for harnesses/straps.- Great for single-shot or slamfire!- Priming indicator on the back.- You can see how many darts are left by looking at the back of the barrel.Cons:- Not the easiest to blaster to load.******************************We probably have a dozen Nerf blasters or more and both my 13-year-old and I use them quite regularly both in Nerf wars and target shooting. The Surgefire is probably one of my favorites!Out of the box, the barrel and blaster body are in two separate pieces. You easily snap the barrel into place and once it's in place you really can't remove it.The blaster holds 15 darts, which are a little awkward to load because you have to rotate the barrel (which causes a jarring "click!" noise). The back of the barrel is slotted, so you can see how many darts are left - this is a well thought out addition that I'm really happy to see. There is also a priming indicator on the back of the blaster.Priming the blaster is super easy and the priming action is easy and smooth. This blaster (like many others from Nerf) can be used in single-fire or "slamfire" mode - slamfire allows you to hold the trigger down while rapidly priming - firing off darts every time you prime. This is so much fun and you can fire off all 15 darts in a very short period of time!Firing is accurate and darts fly far and fast (as they should, being N-Strike Elite darts). For the more advanced users, you'll be happy to know that the Surgefire has a small tactical rail on the top of the blaster (front area) and there are multiple attachment points for lanyards and straps.Overall, this is one fun blaster to use! It's smooth to fire, consistent in performance, reliable (no jams) and looks like a boss! Highly recommended.

Amazing Distance
First time trying the Nerf Blaster, I couldn't believe the distance as the dart flew from one end of my hallway and hit the front door which is a distance of 30 feet and to think, this is supposed to reach a distance of 90 feet (27 metres)! The Blaster holds 15 foam darts but I recommend ordering extras as they can go missing quite quickly (especially if using outdoors). Loading is quite simple, just drop each dart into the the rotating drum, draw the handle and shoot. The adults in our household are having so much fun with this but even better, my cats are having a blast, too! I dropped the darts into a container of catnip, shook it up then loaded the blaster and aim down the hall, then my cats go chasing after the darts (my kitten even returns them to me). This is very well made and worth every penny!!

Good value, works great most of the time
I've had a couple of Nerf guns in the past. The ones I've had were frustrating as they'd occasionally get stuck, but the design of this blaster is different so it won't get stuck as long as you pull the handle all the way back when you arm it. If you don't pull the handle all the way back and try to do it too quickly as my kids do sometimes, it won't fire but you can easily rectify the issue by pulling it all the way back still. There are tons of bullets included and the range and operation of the gun is among the best I've used. The only issue I have is that ok occasion the bullets go maybe half the distance they're supposed to even though the bullet seems to be intact and undamaged. Other than that, it's a great Nerf blaster/gun.

Rapid fire with long range. Bullets don't hurt
Awesome fun! Bought two for my kids, I sneak in and take one every chance I get and get some much deserved revenge. Bullets can fly out quite rapidly once you get the function down, and with great distance. I like to see if I can head shot my 10 year old from about 70 feet away. Ahh guitless pleasures of being a parent...
