How to Start and Operate an Electrical Contracting Business

Better than expected.

A little to much on the technical side. I was asked to be my son's business manager.His bid fail to take in a profit margin. He considers his hours and labor as his profitrather than an expense to the business. I hoped to be able to gain enough knowledgeto help him be profitable but fair.

This book is a good study for another perspective on operating an electrical business. Getting opinions and help from many different sources can dramatically inproove your results in the long run.

This book was not any help. It doesn't lay out how to do anything. A waste of money. You are much better off getting Markup & Profit.

An interesting read but mostly not relevant to UK electrical industry. If you are thinking if setting up business in the UK this book won't help you much. The book does not cover much technical detail either so if technical information is what you seek then this book also won't help.

I gave this book 1 star just because. It was not worth the 1 star actually. This book is not for anyone that is just starting a business, this book is based more on multimillion dollar corporations. If anyone is running a business that is described in this book then you would not even need this book. Big waste of the time it took me to realize this book was no good, and also a big waste of 21.00. Could have spent that somewhere else.
