They are both very beautiful and very comfortable!
These casual shoes are so light weight, it is as if shoes are not being worn. No break-in period is even needed. They are really beautiful and a beautiful color. They can be worn with anything, like jeans, etc.

Best Slippers I've Ever Owned
I'm retired, and so even when there's no pandemic raging, I am home all day almost every day. My preference is to be barefooted, but there are practical reasons (cold, dirty floors, the need to step out in the rain to pick up the mail) that make me wear slippers, especially in the colder months. But I also have very wide feet, and I also hate fleece and fake-fur lining in slippers. That narrows my choices considerably. For several years I have turned to Minnetonka Moccasins, either here or on their website, but again, my choices are limited there as well. So although I hate having to deal with the moccasins with the little rawhide bow that won't stay tied and that trips me if I don't retie it, and that can't be removed without the whole moc falling apart, I haven't seen anything else better. That is, until now.I had seen these advertised, but every time I tried to purchase a pair, my size was sold out. Finally, finally, I have them. They are PERFECT. I rarely use the word, but it's true. The leather is soft; there's no dumb tie to come undone; the gore on the top of the shoe allows the leather to widen just far enough, but not too far. The size is exactly correct. They aren't beautiful, but they also aren't ugly. The sole is one that stands up to a trip out of the house, though my inside shoes generally don't get worn outside unless I need to get the mail or do some other brief outdoor task. They keep my feet dry if I step out into the rain, and I don't slip and fall if the floor gets wet. I purchased them in the tan color, but if it hadn't been available, I'd have bought whatever I could get. Now, there's no arch support, but then, most of us know that's not what moccasins are good for. If you want arch support, buy sneakers. I take my slippers off for an hour each day on my stationary bike. Put my sneaks on, ride, take the sneaks off, put the slippers back on. It's all good.As you can see from the illustration, the style is like a pair of loafers, and if you want to wear them to work or school, I'm sure you could. In the Pacific Northwest, where it rains all the time, it wouldn't be the best choice for a transit commuter navigating big puddles, but for those that don't have to go outside much while at work or commuting, they should be fine. Quiet on hard floors, and not squeaky. But for me, they're my go-to footwear 365 days. What can be better?

They were comfortable, but without any real cushion to the sole ...
I have difficulty finding my smaller size (5 or 5and 1/2) in shoes. I purchased these in a store a few years back. They were comfortable, but without any real cushion to the sole of the shoe. That is the only negative, but I got used to wearing them anyway. They are so versatile to wear with pants or shorts, and so neutral in color. I found myself wearing them very often. Then one day my dog got to them and chewed them up pretty badly. It was a sad day because I have very few pairs of shoes in my size that fit well. The store no longer carried them. A couple years passed before I decided to see if Amazon may carry them. They did, in my size! It was a no brainer. I bought them. Very happy to have found them again.

My favorite shoe of all time
When I was 18 or 19 (I am now 24) I bought my first pair of these, kind of on accident. I had wanted another pair of moccasins in the store I was at, but they didn't have my size, so I settled for these. Best thing that could have happened. Every year (maybe 14-16 months) since I have bought a pair of these shoes (because I run them into the ground. Literally. The soles fall off, the leather gets holes. Not because of bad craftsmanship either, I just wear them that much.) They are so soft, so comfortable. And I always get a size down because they STRETCH. I usually wear 8/8.5, so I get a 7/7.5. One year I got an 8 and within two weeks they had stretched super huge to where they flopped around on my foot. My mistake though (and they were still super comfy). The deerskin is so malleable and thin and soft that after they are broken in (takes about a day) it feels as if nothing is on your foot.I wear these every day, everywhere, for everything, but they are not meant to be in water- not even the rain. That doesn't stop me from doing it, just know that if they get wet they'll do what lightly-treated leather does and get kinda stiff. Also, kind of a funny anecdote: I was once camping and had my feet resting up on the edge of the fire ring and the glue holding the sole on melted and the sole started peeling off (so don't put these near flames...obvious to the non-oblivious). I quickly slammed my foot back down onto the sandy ground where the glue instantly hardened back to the sole, though it was a little misshapen. Still wore them for another 7 months.Buy them. Just do it.

Runs large
I normally wear an 8, but had to exchange for a 7-1/2. It's a teensy bit wider than hoped for, but doesn't slip off my heel. I considered exchanging for a 7, but suspect it would be too short in length. Overall, I'm happy and it's comfy and lightweight. I will be ordering another pair in a different color.

Not as Described nor is it wide
Description says there is a cushioned innersole when in fact this particular style has NO innersole. Your foot is resting on the suede which the shoe is made of. Also, bought this tan in a 7-1/2 C/D (wide) when in fact it is extremely narrow.. I have 2 other Minnetonka moccasins, both in a size 7, which fit perfectly (I usually take a 7-1/2 wide shoe or boot). Those 2 have a somewht cushioned leather innersole with a bit of arch support (not much). Those 2 are the beaded deerskin mocs. I will try to find the color I want in that style, since I know it will fit. Edited: this product was advertised as having a cushioned innersole: the seller says to return it, I have to pay shipping & handling to get a refund, because it is as advertised: it is not (not innersole = will not fit me). Amazon stated free returns. I will never buy any shoe by this seller again. also - Minnetonka does NOT make a wide moccasin, there are NONE on their official website in this style. I have never had a problem returning items bought on Amazon, but this seller takes the cake! Very unhappy!

Really nice slippers.
Really soft and supple. Good quality.Minnetonka won't sell to Canadians (not even for exhorbitant shipping costs like many online retailers). So if you want these expensive slippers, Amazon.ca is your best bet.
