So this product actually works very well against roaches! The cat food & water bowls are no longer a food/water source for them… I put bleach in the moat with a little water and BAM… no more roaches floating in her water or running around in her food dish anymore 🥹👍🏽❤️‍🩹… the cat doesn’t try to push her bowls over anymore either… very easy to refill the moat*… doesn’t evaporate very quickly either… I just refill the moats when I give her water & food if the water is low…I can safely say, this is one of the best most effective/useful purchases I have ever made on Amazon 😮‍💨😮‍💨… will buy again when/if these wear out… so far the plastic is holding up well in spite of constantly having bleach in the moat… price is very reasonable for what it is… 10/10 would recommend…Definitely giving 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

These bowls work as advertised! No ants! Easy to clean! Perfect!

My indoor/outdoor cats’ food bowl would be swarming with ants after 30 minutes. I would spray or use pesticide in the spot and around where the bowl goes overnight (when the bowl wasn’t present) to try and keep the ants at bay, but to no avail.These completely stopped the issue. Even wood roaches don’t get in there. I add a little bit of dish soap to the “moat” and then fill with water. No bugs get in the food now. Now I can leave the bowl out overnight for the opossums and stray cats as well :)They’re extremely sturdy and made of a thick plastic with rubber stoppers that keep the bowl from moving or being blown away in wind. All around a fantastic purchase

These bowls are a game changer. I was able to keep ants away from my dogs food without having to use pesticides!I have a chiweenie and these bowls were not too shallow and not too deep for her to eat and drink out of. I've had these for over a month now and I have not seen a single ant in or around my dogs food. I used to put it down and, within an hour, the ants had found the food and alerted all their buddies! That small ring of water around the bottom of the bowl deters the ants and my doggo can nibble and then come back later for more without having to deal with ants all over her food.These bowls grip nicely to all types of floors as well so they can't be pushed around while your dog eats.Very happy with this purchase!

The ants do not like this bowl, but the dogs do! The water reservoir is wide enough to keep the pests out, and stays full for at least 2-3 days, depending on the weather. The bowl itself is rather large for my small dogs but, that is fine, as it means I can fill it up in the morning and not worry about it throughout the day.

Bought these bowls for my 140 lb Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog because the ants kept getting in his food outside. Can’t say whether this works or not because they were just too small for the size of dog that we have.
