Review: GOT PERFECT SPAETZLE WITH IT - When I got into the mood to cook a complete German meal from the ground up, I found I needed something to make spaetzle. This is what I ordered. And it works perfectly for making spaetzle. Have done it a couple of times now for perfect noodles each time. Haven't yet used it for ricing potatoes, but I will and am confident it will work well for that. It's very well made. Sturdy construction. Expect it to be usable for many years.

When I got into the mood to cook a complete German meal from the ground up, I found I needed something to make spaetzle. This is what I ordered. And it works perfectly for making spaetzle. Have done it a couple of times now for perfect noodles each time. Haven't yet used it for ricing potatoes, but I will and am confident it will work well for that. It's very well made. Sturdy construction. Expect it to be usable for many years.

I bought this to squeeze water out of grated potato for hash browns, and it works wonderfully. If anyone is thinking of buying a ricer for mashed potatoes, however, I advise you not to bother.
