A dedicated Kindle Fire charger charges at 1.8 amps for full charge. If you put 10 Kindles on it, they will trickle charge -- the circuitry of this sort of charger has them "taking turns" until they're done. So if you had 10 fully drained Kindles, they might not all be charged fully the next day. But if you have 10 Kindles you're just using a bit (like you have students use them for a couple of hours), then this charger will top them off just fine.(This isn't just a Kindle answer, BTW -- all modern devices will charge faster on a dedicated circuit, and these sorts of multi-chargers use special logic to have the devices basically "take turns.") **Q: We are using two units in a school for iPads.
