Q: Is this the original formula? Is there a better brand?

I'm pretty sure this is the original formula and to my knowledge, there is no better brand. My husband swears by this. He is a cancer survivor of 6 years. Takes 3-4 0z every day as a preventative. Just our own method, but he is still cancer free.

Q: The package does not state it contains sheep sorrel root it only states sheep sorrel

The bad information comes from the websites essiasctea.org & HealthFreedom.info , referring to sheep sorrel roots being the necessary component. WRONG ! ! ! Look online for Mary McPherson's Original Certified handwritten Essiac recipe- she worked for Rene Caisse and mixed the herbs herself. Of the 4 ingredients, Burdock and Turkish rhubarb are the ONLY Roots specified - NOT Sorrel- and they are both mandatory.

Q: For how long I can store the tea in the refrigerator?

We have stored it in the refrigerator for two weeks and has been fine, don't know beyond that time. Be sure to use a glass Jar or Jug to store.

Q: Tea or capsule which is best

Tea. I have read that some of the capsules have other ingredients in addition to the capsule gelatin made from animal products. Tea is unadulterated.
