It will fit and Wilderness Systems kayak with a Phase 3 seat. Be aware the instructions are a little sketchy but you will have no trouble once you reason out the seat adjustment. It also makes the cockpit a few inches shorter. Made a difference for me as I am 6'3 235... took a few trips to adjust getting in and out of my boat. **Q: I got this seatback today and assembled it. the bungies pull the back to the top of the riser. if i wanted to adjust it to halfway, how do i lock it?** A: If you put it together right, the pull cord between your legs under the seat should be able to get pulled and lower or raise the seat to the desired height. **Q: Will this seatfold flat to alow the cockpit cover to go on** A: Yes. Very easy to install and functioned like the original. Only issue I have was the directions and pictures were blurry and hard to understand. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good seat back, horrible instructions *by T***M on July 20, 2022* I guess their idea of 2x 1/4 bungee with hooks is to supply one piece of 1/4 bungee that you cut. I found it easiest to put the riser into the seat back and then run the 3/16 bungee that makes the seat back spring. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Seat/Terrible Install Instructions *by K***P on June 10, 2020* Just bought this seat back to replace a broken seat on my older perception, which luckily used the same type of seating system. The seat sits higher than my original and I was looking for something firm, to provide better lumbar support, which it does. The only issue is the installation instructions. Everything went smooth, until I reached steps 12-14. I went online but unfortunately no videos. I ended up figuring it out and wanted to share, in case it helps someone else. So, when you get to step 12, you stretch the looped bungee all the way up, from the bottom of the seat rest to the top and make sure the straps are on top. Then, the trick is you pull that bungee through the u-shaped slot on the seat and I then grabbed a screwdriver to hold the bungee in that u-shaped slot, from the back, so it would stay. You can then slide the entire seat each into that slot , and tuck the strap and bungees with hooks through with it. Then, I used the screw driver to set the bungee secure in that u-shaped slot and once it’s in, the seat will spring up and down. The instructions showed something completely different for this step, which had me guessing.
