Using all the latest evidence, and working with Consultant Paediatricians, Neonatologists and Microbiologists, we have blended 3 important and proven probiotic bacteria, in a ratio where the bifidobacteria are in higher numbers just like in the human infant gut. Labinic is a liquid which avoids any intolerance issues encountered when using powders There are 3 strains of active, live probiotic bio-flora present in equal quantities in Labinic Drops: Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium infantis. These are suspended in a pharmaceutical grade medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil with a neutral taste. Each 10ml bottle contains 5ml of liquid probiotic (this is to enable proper mixing when shaken) and will last approximately 25 days, supporting your little one's tummy for less than a pound a day. The recommended dose is 5 drops daily, and the bottle comes with an accurate built-in dropper. How to useShake well before use for 30 seconds and then allow to settle before opening each time. **Q: How many ml does the bottle contain?**
A: There is 5ml in the bottle. The bottle size is larger (10ml bottle) to allow mixing and to allow syringe administration when used in the hospital setting.

**Q: I read that to survive and work, probiotics need prebiotics on which to feed. Is aerosil 200 pharma (anticaking agent e551) the prebiotic in labinic ?**

Thank you for the question.

The probiotics in Labinic Drops are 'dormant' as suspended in MCT oil (medium chain triglyceride which is a natural, easy digestible oil). This stabilises the bacterial count at 2 billion per day and therefore the probiotics do not need feed by prebiotics. Aerosil 200 Pharma is a regulated and approved food agent that is used to stop the bacteria 'clumping' together.
All probiotic that come into contact with any degree of water molecule becomes active so when Labinic Drops are given orally the probiotics are stimulated and become ''alive'' again.
If a probiotic is prepared/stored as a liquid or powder (which can then easily absorb moisture) the stability is affected as the probiotics become active and then die. A prebiotic can slow the degeneration process of the probiotic it does not prevent it. 

Our microbiologist preform stability studies to ensure that the bacterial count of 2 billion per day in Labinic Drops remain stable throughout it lifespan (BBE). Our bottle may look small but we can assure you that there is a lot of science in Labinic Drops.

My 4 year old son is now on his fifth bottle of these amazing probiotics. He has gastro problems and after trying out several I can honestly say these have worked wonders for him. He's finally gained weight and grown, everyone is commenting how healthy he looks as he was underweight before starting these probiotics. We changed nothing else in his dietary routine so only have these drops to thank :) They are pricey but for me they're worth it. I know what works for one person doesn't work for another but they work for him and I'm so glad we bought them

### ⭐ Disgusting taste and doesn't work

This super expensive,tiny bottle tastes very disgusting, unlike the description saying its tasteless or so, also it smells like hospital! Did not work for me at all, bought this as a replacement to my usual Probiotics, when going away and can't take liquids in hand luggage so thought this will be handy, I couldn't be more wrong!
