A: It works with Shimano brakes. I am not sure compatibility with other brakes.

A: We would recommend purchasing the line kit, which should include all mounting hardware. Piecing the line kit separately is extremely difficult to do.

I wish I could have bought this from one of the online bike shops, but with the cost of shipping and the slower shipping it was just a better plan to buy them through Amazon. Next time I'll plan ahead and add them to a bigger order from jenson or universal. These are for XT, SLX, Zee, Saint (which all use the same hardware) and probably all the other pre-2025 XTR Shimano brakes.
