McClosky Man O War 80-7507 Spar Varnish-Low VOC, Semi-Gloss ~ One Gallon

We repaired rotted wood in the cedar posts on our wrap-around porch. They are big, heavy posts, like tree trunks. After finishing the repair process with P.C. Woody, we sanded the repaired area and applied stain and finally put cover of Spar Varnish to get semi-gloss finish. Looks great and keeps finish shiny.

This was a great polyurethane to use in refinishing wood furniture for our porch.

I have tried other products on my sidling and deck rails -- This is the only one that lasts more than a year.

Love Man O' War Spar Varnish. Haven't used this yet but plan on refinishing my kitchen cabinets.

Good varnish it holds up under wet winter conditions. Could not find this varnish locally so I had to order it. Really holds up and looks good.

Owning three wooden boats (from large to small) over the past many years, and trying various 'improved' varnish... McCloskey's is, by far, the best varnish for exterior & interior work. Keeping it 'fresh', it flows easily, spreads consistently, carries a wet edge, and most importantly, with its UV protection, this varnish lasts far longer than any other brand.
