Amazon does this in a confusing way, but this product allowed me to connect the shop next door about 120' away. I had problems with my previous ethernet connection so thought I would try this and it made a huge difference. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Working like a charm if you can get adequate USB power (or buy it with the power supplies) *by F***A on October 16, 2016* Beware that most USB power supplies like phone chargers would not work with these devices, so do buy the kits including the power supplies and not those with only the USB power cables unless you are sure you can get a good hardware USB power form a TV, computer or router.That should be very explicit in the description instead of being buried in the Q&As (hence the 4 * instead of 5, would have given 4.5).I wanted to get wired Ethernet from a new fiber gateway to the old Wi-Fi router using the existing coaxial cable.It did not work when I tried ALL the USB phone chargers we have (iPhone, Samsung, generic,...). Power led stayed off.Before giving up, I went back to the Q&As section and there it was: you have to hook it up to a USB port on a TV or a computer. I did it on both sides, on the USB ports of the gateway and the router. And I get ~ 94Mbps for both download and upload.So I would say it works very well once you get it to work. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent way to extend network over Coax and great value. *by J***B on April 7, 2025* Worked very well to get internet to my home office. Was able to use the existing house coax run to get 100 megabit internet hookup.
