Organic, unsweetened and no guar gum, perfect.
I love the fact that this product is organic, unsweetened and contains no guar gum. The taste is as good as any other similar brand that I’ve used. Blending, since the solids do settle out, is done reasonably well with a whisk. I whisk it twice, once when I pour the can into a bowl and again when I pour it from the bowl into my spices in the pan or pot that I am using. The heat helps break down the small clumps sometimes remaining after cold whisking. From my experience it is more expensive than other brands that are non organic and or those that contain gar gum. However from what I have seen less expensive than other organic no guar gum brands, which are generally hard to find. I gladly pay the extra for organic and no guar gum. When bought by the case on Amazon it is a much better value compared to my experiences buying singles at the grocery store of the same brand. This is the only coconut I use now and have started buying it by the case.

Like coconut oil but creamier
Delicious! I’m halfway through my case. I was super disappointed when I opened the can and it was all chunky and separated but I decided to use it anyway. I drained the liquid off (for use in shakes) and used the solid in a creamy cauliflower risotto. Immediately, it started to melt and make a nice creamy sauce. Elated, I added it to my chicory/dandelion tea and gave it a whirl in my blender and YUM! I got my coffee flavor back without dairy! I also added it to a dairy free avocado dressing and found it didn’t quite cream like I thought it would. It solidified - completely. However, I put the dressing on top a hamburger and it melted to a dressing consistency. So it’s super heat sensitive. Doesn’t give a nice cream unless it’s at just the right temp (not too hot not too cold) and once refrigerated WILL separate/solidify. Same as coconut oil.Added plus: I’m actually allergic to guar gum and was SUPER excited this didn’t have any! It’s been impossible to find it without.////EDIT:///I ordered a batch and it was delivered yesterday. It will not solidify. It’s completely liquid, still creamy. Even after refrigeration. So I drained it over cheese cloth and got a super creamy yogurt like consistency which is actually better for my needs. My theory is that some batches include more coconut oil than other batches thus the reason for some being more solid. I don’t believe this is a quality control issue but more when the coconuts were harvested and at what temp as more oil was allowed to get into some batches when the weather is warmer. Just proves to me that it is indeed organic without fillers.

My second order of 12 cans of Simple... 5 cans opened so far are like lard, so disappointing.
My first order of the 12 cans of Simple was so good, used it in my morning smoothies and to make Chia seed pudding. Thought I had found the perfect coconut milk and was so pleased and relieved (even tho it is pricey). This second order, however, is entirely different. Have opened 5 cans so far and each has been like solid white lard, and have had to cut it in the can with knife and then dig it out of the can. It doesn't melt when warmed and is almost tasteless. I had to use a stick mixer with lots of added water to get it to a large grained consistency. It's a bit scary to drink, not understanding why this same brand is so different than my first experience. I am old, live alone, and have all groceries and needs delivered by Amazon. Doubt the remaining cans are returnable even if I had a way to do that.

Great coconut milk
Great product but one flaw: in every delivery most of the cans are dented. Not the box they are delivered in. Just the cans. The majority of the cans in this delivery were so dented I'm beginning to think that that is how they get rid of the dented cans. They purposely ship them to customers, including me! Ticks me off but it's otherwise a very good product.

Creamy Without Guar Gum
I was looking for no guar gum coconut milk due to health reasons for myself and my toddler, and was ready for the taste to be sacrificed. But actually it wasn’t. I drink it with my coffee and use a whisker to blend it. (It’s supposed to have separate solid pieces - you just blend it.) I thought the consistency was even creamier than the brand I used to use that has guar gum. And it works great with my daughter’s millet porridge. And of course, the best part is it only contains coconut.

This is lovely coconut milk!
It doesn't have any toxic ingredients in it. It tastes great. I love it and use it instead of cow's milk. It's great for curries and mixing with fresh berries too.
