Stuff works great. Recommended by my ophthalmologist and within a week my "dry eye" eye saw things much clearer. Put a dab in a corner of eye and blink several times. I then gently brushed my finger across closed eye to spread any excess. This is thick enough to remain in place compared to the any liquid versions. Easy to use and after a couple of days I really did not feel it as I went to sleep. Excellent price for the very good result. Lasts all night and in the morning dissipated. I have used this brand for about two months and no negative effects. Ask your ophthalmologist for their recommendation.

Have used such ointment for more than 30 years. Have used this product for about six months. I have one blind eye with bumpy cornea due to Band Keratopathy. Put a little in that eye about 10 times a day. And, yes I need to wipe below that eye with a tissue because it leaks out; but it keeps the eye well-lubricated.

Squeeze a little bit of this inside the bottom lid and let it melt and warm up and spread around. I do this as the very last thing before I turn off the lights since it will make my vision blurry.

I have DES (dry eye syndrome) and it gets really bad in "normal" weather. I'm only comfy in humid areas of the planet. And indoors with heat or a/c, my eyes are dry and painful all the time (no matter where I am on Ma Earth). So I try to remember to use this nighttime ointment every other or every 3 nights. Then, during the day, I use the regular daytime Ocusoft drops 3-4 times daily.In general, I find that if I use the nighttime ointment, my eyes during the next 1-3 days are much, much improved as to dryness. I suggest that you NOT ignore your dry eyes, because eventually this can come back to harm you (as in, permanent eye damage). Find a nighttime ointment and daytime drops that work for you, then stick to it as though your eyesight depended upon it. OCUSOFT is a little more pricey, but works very well for me, and hey, I'm worth it.

Jt was too thick for my wife to use. Never ordered again.
