Don't buy. Camera window becomes obscure ruins the use of camera.
One star, I'm afraid. The case is amazing and I always buy these. The camera window has become obscured under normal use. No I can't take nice photos and phone thinks I need to clean it. No good doesn't wipe off. It lets the whole product down. Otterbox when will this improve and will you sort? Once this is sorted the case will be the market leader.

Tried and Tested by a self confessed accident prone human
I absolutely love lifeproof products. I have just bought this one to replace my old one. The old one I had on for two years, it kept my phone in pristine condition but due to the nature of my job (and my clumsiness) it was starting to look a bit worse for wear. The waterproofing worked great when my mate managed to capsize our canoe and it’s survived various drops down the loo.The fingerprint cover works well most of the time. The only problem I had with it was that people were becoming unable to hear me clearly on the phone. This was only a recent development but like I say, I’ve had the case for two years and I doubt any other cases would have lasted this long.I love it. It’s saved me £100’s in screen replacements for my iPhone.

Doesn't last a month
I've had this case for a month and have already experienced what seems to be a common problem with the case, the cap for the charger has come loose so it won't close properly so it's no longer waterproof. For the price I expected a more durable product and for it to break from more than me just trying to charge my phone.

Not worth £RRP
Just recieved a lifeproof fre for my s9 plus on amazon however i feel that £70 is far too much to pay for such poor design...1. The screen protection gives a grainy resolution2. The fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all (this should've been tested in R&D and agreed theres no point having the fingerprint area in the case... rather just remove it, make it all plastic and say its a drawback of having a waterproof case)3. The headphone jack adapter will most likely be lost in a matter of days and there should be something on the case to hold the cable or made into a lanyard so its not lost easily.I'm sure a cheap phone case company could've done a similar job like the 'I blason' for about £50 cheaper

Quality life proof covers are the best
Another excellent case from life proof who live up to the quality and price you pay. Last time I had the nude see through back which lasted the two years but cracked and rubber deteriorated but no other cases can stand up to two years use as well so it’s just a matter of wear and tear they still protect the screen from drops even when old and battered! This time I’ve gone for the sleeker coloured option I didn’t want blue but it was available next day delivery and cheaper and I actually quite like the shade it’s brighter than I expected quite funky not a dull blue at all! It also means I can find it better than my conservative old grey one and nice to have a change. The feel of the case is flatter than the nude which has a lip around the screen so it also feels bigger and as I don’t look at the back that much so I probably think this one is the better of the two options. Love to see my iPhone but prefer to have it fully protected and the built in screen cover feels nice to use it’s not warped or bumpy but will have to wait and see if and how it scratches up yet.

warranty and clicking noise on video
I bought the first case in Mar 2019 for an iPhone 7/8 and now SE2020. Both of us were happy with the cases. However, we have since found that there is a constant clicking sound when recording (and then playing) video; the playback is rather like watching an old movie played on a cinema reel-to-reel projector - we had not noticed this before. Due to COVID19 we have had to use viedo a lot to create our on-line church services, so the clicking was unacceptable. This fault is mentioned on the Lifeproof forums. After some experiment, I think that it is due to a bit of slack in the back of the case which is amplyfing some inherent sound.Assuming that the Amazon warranty was only for one year, so we contacted Lifeproof direct and, after a few emails, they accepted that the case needed replacing. They also advised that '... authorized retailers in your region know that they have to replace a case for any reason for up to two years from date of purchase'. There is nothing on the Amazon webpage to say this!I took it up yesterday in a Chat with an Amazon rep, who initially agreed that a replacement was needed, but then said that my account had expired (!!) and that they would only offer me a refund for what I had paid in 2019 (strangely, the cost of the replacement case was £20 more than I paid - odd that). I declined the refund and stated quite firmly that my Prime account was current. After a few minutes wait, the agent agreed to send a new case. So, be aware of the fob off and stand firm. Hopefully the new case will not create the clicking sound on video. Watch this space.Sadly, the clicking sound remains and appears o be conflict between the 2 mics. Chat with Apple allowed a work-around: open the bottom Lightning slot and plug in a set of earbuds, or a mic - this cuts out the bottom mic, so no conflict.

Utterly disappionted
Case worked as expected until the catch snapped on the charge port. Lifeproof guarantee the materials for a year but you have to be able to return it to the vendor, Amazon won't accept a return after 30 days so now i'm left with knackered phone case that i can no longer use. Thoroughly disappointing with quality of the product and with the level of customer service from both amazon and lifeproof
