I find this soap more on the astringent side, but as I tend to have oily skin, I find it perfect for use every couple of days for deep-cleaning. On my hands, I use this soap daily, and I always have a bar in the shower. I wouldn't recommend this for your hair, for it will strip most oils away, even though the smell will certainly tempt you!
