Review: Surprisingly good little remote - Worked on a bunch of different tv’s for me. It’s straightforward to program with the manufacturer guide that comes with the remote. I even had to use it at work one time for a newer Sony flat screen we couldn’t find the remote for and it worked! It’s a bit smaller and lighter than your standard cable remote. It’s easy to hit all the buttons with the remote in the palm of your hand. If your into older tvs or have a tv you don’t have a remote to I’d say this remote would be well worth it to you for the cost.

**Q: I have an older vcr dvd combo... will this be able to switch back and forth between vcr and dvd and control them?  I haven’t seen this answered.**
A: I specifically bought this remote because the buttons on the picture (not the same buttons on my remote, by the way) make it look like you can do that, but you can't. At least, not with my Insignia DVD/VCR combo player. I can't even use the right and left arrows on it for my machine. I can use all the other normal buttons, but I'd really like to be able to choose more than just what's up and down....

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped working after 4 months

It worked fine for about 4 months but all the sudden it won’t work. It still lights up red in the corner when you press a button, but I won’t connect to the tv now for anything, we tried pushing the “tv” button to reconnect it and it won’t connect, new batteries. Nope, nothing. Edit: we had to reprogram it. Now it works again, I don't know why it had disconnected but I'm happy that it was a simple fix. We just googled the remote and programming codes and it works again.
