I’m not a hairstylist. After going through the cheap ones, I was recommended to get this by my hairstylist, who had been using it for years at her hair salon. There are different sizes to these curved irons — 0.3” / 0.4” / 0.6”. I was using a flatiron from another brand in 1” that wasn’t making a good volume for my fringes/side-bangs. I got 0.6” for my fringes that come down to my mid-cheek/jawline. Without using the iron in the morning, they look like a dried-up haystack. (For reference: I have a medium thickness with slight natural waved dark brown hair that comes down to my mid-back. I get my hair dyed every 2-3 months.) For the price, the iron came in a pretty standardized box with a styling comb used in hair salons. The English instructions are also provided in the box. These have 50/60Hz with 100-240V, but the plug has a 220V with an adaptor for 120V. As you may know, Hz is important for safe use, and it is compatible to use in the states. Still wished that they switched out the plugs for the price I’m paying. The cord is long, but this was expected since it’s a professional hair tool. I turned it on to 340F and was surprised by how fast it heated up — less than 5-10 seconds. The curved plates have embedded cushions under the casing to prevent hair damage and have “Healing Stone” properties coated on their ceramics. It does wonders on volumizing my fringes without damaging them. I only needed to iron my hair 1-2x and was surprised again at how easy and fast the whole process was. It also comes with a sleep mode that shuts off the iron after 60min of inactivity. This hair iron is expensive. Is it worth it? It depends on what you’re looking for. For someone like me who need it to heat up fast, have thin curved plates, is reliable, not damage my hair, etc., it’s definitely worth it. I recommend it for those looking for a professional, quality hair iron.

When i went to try a new salon I saw the stylist was using this particular flatiron on all different hair types. I looked it up and found it on Amazon. Now I don't have to go back and can just do it myself! It doesn't dry my hair out and gets it straight or curled a the ends how I want it. I love it and it's a good investment.

Due to my not having long or thick hair, this makes it difficult to find a good hair tool. I've tried a few different ones but no success. This 0.6 size is absolutely perfect and easy to use. Curls just the way I want and like. Good size makes it easy for traveling. Absolutely love my Glam Palm!

I was surprised when i received the hair iron. The cover was worn, it looks like it has been returned item and the iron has white stains on it as the pictures shown. I am so disappointed because i paid for such high value of iron and it supposes to be a brand new. I think the quality is good but not paid for the used item. I wanted to return it but I lost the cover outside of the box so not sure if I can return. I just ordered other item from Glampalm directly and it was supper nice, brand new and well packing. I will never ever again buy expensive item like this in Amazon. My last!!!!

I have been looking for a product such as this. The curling iron curls my short hair gently and leaves it smooth and blends it into a nice look. I would recommend this product, the price is worth it.

Overall not a bad hair straightener. It was too small for the amount of hair I have.
