This comb attachment works great! I used it to groom my Bernedoodle's bottom of her legs and the top of her head. When using this, you need a very sharp #10 blade so the comb doesn't clog with hair. I used an older dull blade by mistake and the comb was clogged with hair. I tried a different blade that is very sharp and it made a world of difference. It did a great job once I changed the blade. It stays on the blade very well. It isn't like the plastic ones with one little hook in the middle of the rear edge of the the comb. This one is spring loaded and stays put, even if you happen to hit a matted area. I highly recommend this comb. I'm going to buy an entire set of these.

I really like the way this works vs my plastic combs. It separates the hair really well, the hair seems to fall smoothly and looks good immediately. The groom I was working on had thick, wavy hair. I give it a 4 because it rattles the whole time , doesn’t feel firmly planted on blade , sounding like it’s going to fall off. I checked and rechecked and it did not come off my blade, I’ll still be nervous for a while, so as to not scalp a groom!

This comb attachment guard is awesome. I have seen the whole set of attachments listed for $80 or more! I don’t use any other guard size aside from this one on my labs. Thank goodness they sell them separately for $7. If one wears out, I just order another attachment without spending a small fortune. It’s important to keep Hank and tater clean and shaved!! They shed like crazy if not groomed often!! Thank you for making these things so easily accessible.. I use these on my Wahl max coat and on my Wahl km10 clippers.

Wahl is a great brand. Love that the comb is steel and not plastic making them very durable. I was excited to be able to find a replacement after misplacing mine. I would buy again if needed.

I have a number of plastic combs, just not a 1”. I purchased this after reading some reviews on metal/stainless steel combs. I’ll never use the plastic again. These glide through my dogs soft curly coat allowing for a nice even cut.
