Works well with a punchdown tool.
Multiple mounting points, works as expected. Solidly built. I was worried it might be a little flimsy, but it's just like thr ones I've installed at work.

Get small cable ties to hold the cable down for stress relief
Very well made. Easy to mount on the wall. Relatively easy to distinguish between the 12 ports and their respective punch down slots. Shows color and pattern of wire for both TS-568A and B. Excellent instructions.

Solid prosumer level patch panel
Product is excellent for the price point and feels like a prosumer level piece of equipment. The punch downs are solid and are easily compatible with different grades of CAT cable. Form factor is perfect for a structured media center.

TrendNet Patch Panel
It's a very simple patch panel that does its job. Couldn't ask for anything more. The faceplate is metal, so it's very durable. Worked perfectly for my application.

Compared to competition, overpriced
There's very little difference between this brand-name and other less-known offerings. I've used both, and in the future will purchase the competition.

Was not my first choice, but very happy with it
I was trying to purchase another patch panel of the same type I had used previously in my structured cable panel. Either because of supply chain issues, or some other reason I could not order from Amazon or directly from that manufacturer. I started doing research on alternatives. This TRENDnet patch panel seemed to be popular, but it doesn't fit the quick attachment points in my panel. I decided to give it a try and just mount it with sheet metal screws to the back of the panel. I was surprised at how much better I liked this panel over the previous panel. The punch down terminals on this are high quality, and made it a much quicker install with connections that tested out on the first try. Very happy with this patch panel!

Works as intended. Cat5e cables are a hair smaller than Cat6, so the cat5e can pop out on its own a little easier, out of 12 ports only 2 strands on 3 cat5e cables popped loose. Minor and not unheard of for any.

Have not used mine yet, but had a good look at it. So far it looks like it's good Quality and came very well packaged

Good quality strong case and connectors. Punch downs work fine. I find having the punch downs on the back makes the install and any maintenance more complex than it should be. They look nice when done but I prefer front mounted punch downs for easy install and changes.

Bought it, installed it, enjoyed it! Really cost effective for a small installation.

One or two ports doesn't work. Hard to tell until wire is terminated and tested. A risk that you need to take.
