DDF Brightening Cleanser, 6 Fl Oz

Hands down, the best brightening cleanser I have ever used (and I try a lot of products). It was difficult to find for awhile, so I used other brands and nothing worked quite like DDF. It evens skin tone, erases dark spots (I get these easily from acne & the sun), and just makes your skin glow. It use this In additional to a mild cleanser. It does have a tingling effect and smells like strong black licorice. I like this-some may not. You don’t need much and you don’t use it every day-only a few times a week. You will see results if you keep using it. One week isn’t going to make a difference. The effect isn’t dramatic either, but you will see your skin brighten and even out color wise.

BUT I find it dries out my skin a lot

Gentle and balances skin tone well. It's good for daily use. Even better with an exfoliator. I use it with my clarsonic. It's a nice staple to a proactive (not the product proactive but the combating aging and wear proactive) skin care regime.

This is a good cleanser. I have combination skin, and I didn't find this to irritate my skin at all. I use it with my electronic cleansing brush and have noticed a difference with my hyperpigmintation left behind from acne I had a couple years back. So far, this is the ONLY product I have tried that has given me any results. They're not overnight results or anything, but after a month if use the spots were definitely lighter. When using this product I rarely ever break out, which speaks volumes for this product considering I have very acne-prone skin. The only negative thing I can say is that paired with the DDF hyperpigmintation lotion, it caused my skin to break out horribly and become red and dry. For people with sensitive skin, I recommended caution when using both the cleanser and the lotion together. Perhaps try only a little area of your skin at first to see how it reacts. Other than that, I love it!

I used to use this cleanser daily for years. But then DDF shrunk the packaging by 29% and kept the price the same. I can't continue to purchase it feeling like they're duping customers.

I have tried many cleansers and this one is my favorite. It isn't harsh but I truly believe it lightens dark spots and makes your skin look better. My all time favorite.

Good product

Foremost, do know that the odor takes a little getting used to. At first, I thought I received an expired product. But, after a moment, I realized that it is a blend of medicinal and licorice (which is a really weird pairing for your olfactory system to parse out). So, even after finishing this bottle, I'm still not accustom to the scent and will be switching back to my old cleanser, On The Go Cleanser ( For Normal / Combination Skin ) 207ml/7oz. So awesome!)Besides the polarizing smell, the product does seem to clean well, rinses with ease, and does provide a mild exfoliating effect (be careful not to overuse it though ... you will experience peeling, especially if you already have a fairly rigorous skin care regimen). Nonetheless, the bottle is a little small for the price. There are comparable premium cleansers that cost considerably less.For those with sensitivities to scent, this might not be the best choice (then again, it might be better than some of the fruity or flowery scents). It does work well, but for me the price (in comparison to the actual size) and the odor means that I'll be moving on.
