This is how we (should) do it
I love everything Art Ludwig and his staff do and write -- I'm just an armchair green builder, but Oasis Design is the guru of eco-friendly water management for households. It's a pity that "modern," "progressive" building codes discourage these simple, efficient, elegant, economical and healthy technologies. If there is an oasis in heaven, it probably looks like something in this book.

Excellent guidance
I just wish it was in full color. I have a hard time staying focused with black and white pics and writing.Otherwise excellent info for gardening during a drought

GREAT BOOK!
My husband has read this book from cover to cover---several times. We are soooo doing this in the spring! We are very excited about creating a 'green' gray water system in our backyard. It is going to be beautiful!

This book is guiding me through the process of understanding ...
This book is guiding me through the process of understanding greywater here in Arizona. I am preparing to install my Laundry to Landscape system and hope to water some newly planted evergreens that will provide a forest wind block and privacy screen.

Not much information for freezing climates
If you're in a place that freezes know that there are only two pages at the very back of the book that address dealing with climates that freeze on a regular basis. Otherwise it's a very informative book.

Like the "branched drain" system
Clearly no-one has done more research on the subject than this guy. Maybe for a layman this book is adequate, but greywater is not rocket science, and i feel the way each "system" is categorised is a bit over the top. I would prefer to learn the basic principles and have a few examples of systems. Instead, he labels each system based on slightly different components, but in essence they all do the same thing. Like the "branched drain" system. It's just branches coming off of single drains. No need for a dedicated section on it. If you're a complete beginner I'm sure this is the book for you, but if you're a bit inventive or technical you can figure out most of this stuff for yourself and on t'internet
