Aveeno, Skin Relief, Nourish & Repair Cica Balm, Helps Heal Very Dry Skin, 50ml

This has an almost ointment-like consistency but without the greasy residue and feels much thicker and richer than other creams and lotions in the Aveeno ranges (both the blue top Skin Relief and green top Daily Moisturising ranges).It’s quite a small tube and feels pricey for 50ml but it’s a lot richer than other creams so you only need to use small amounts and spend time really rubbing it into the skin. I’ve been using it 3 times a day and it’s really helped to soften and heal areas of extremely dry, peeling skin which I developed on my toes and feet for some unknown reason, a couple of months ago. I use lots of the Aveeno creams but while they’re great for my hands and body, I really needed something more intensive to treat my feet and this honestly worked for me. I’m really glad I took a chance on this and will continue to use it for any patches of very dry skin that emerge.

The oatmeal and other ingredients extend the life of it on your hands.It goes on a bit oily. But soaks in well before too long :).Used it on back of hands. Not palm :). Could imagine it would get a little slick there. But it’s so good you could let it soak in for ten minutes and wash the excess away. You’d still see results :).It’s a great barrier and great moisturiser too.Two nights and it got rid of my bumpy very dry skin.A little goes a long way. So don’t be put off by size.I moved over from Aveeno intensive hand cream, only because this doesn’t wash off as easily :) but both are great.Has a soft scent. I have a sensitive nose but it didn’t irritate me at all :).Will be recommending :).

I bought this as an upgrade to my usual Aveeno Dermexa cream that I use to keep a patch of sobbheric dermatitis at bay (on my face). This stuff is amazing and works so much better/quicker (the Dermexa is fine, but this is definitely a superior product). It is perfect for my needs. It can be greasy to the touch after application, but in my situation this is not an issue whatsoever as the alternative is a rough flaky patch in the middle of my mush. The greasiness isn't visible, it just feels greasy. If like me you suffer from sobherric dermatitis, then do not hesitate to buy this cream. I'm sure you will agree that the price is almost irrelevant in this situation as you just want a product that works, and this does! Worth every penny and will be purchasing again once this one runs out (and it goes a long way too!)

This did help my very dry hands to some extent, but not as much as I expected from the description. It didn’t sink into my skin particularly well and I have found some of the lighter Aveeno lotions better in this respect. I wouldn’t want to put anyone off - it’s a perfectly good cream - but just not ideal for me.

It’s very thick, little goes a long way. It soothes my facial eczema and is so gentle to use I know it won’t cause me any further breakouts or irritation. My face is always dry and sore because it’s so sensitive to everything and I can reliably use this to help keep it moisturised and protected

I’ve been desperate to find a way to use less steroid cream on my eczema and this cream has been a godsend. You can tell there is glycerin in it - but I don’t mind that it feels a bit heavy - almost like hand cream. I’ve been using it on my face and it’s worked better for me than creams literally 10 times the price. On my body I use the aveeno skin relief moisturising lotion as this wouldn’t go far to use all over - but it’s been incredible on my face and for any severe patches on my wrists etc.

I suffer from really really bad dry chapped hands in the winter and left untreated the chaps start to bleed, I’ve tried every over the counter hand cream from E45 to neutrogena and even the Aveeno daily moisturising hand cream which works but you have to apply alots continuously for a few days before your hands start to feel better but this Aveeno skin relief hand cream is on a next level, I apply to my hands at night before going to bed and in the morning my hands are much much better, only down side is the size is smaller and it’s more expensiver than the other Aveeno hand cream, but if you can afford to shell out a few extra quid this is definitely the one.

My daughter has suffered from very dry, cracked skin. We have tried so many creams but nothing worked. So I thought what have we got to lose and bought this.Within a few days of using this her hands were so much better. Within a month her hands were back to how they should be and beautifully soft.This hand cream is definitely worth the money and last for ages as you only need a little bit.
