A Favorite Toy
I originally bought a set of these as a gift for a 2 year old girl. Her parents told me that she used them all the time, and loved them, and they still use them 2 years later. Their review was enough to convince me to buy a set for my own son, now 17 months. He loves to unstack them and line them up, then he will come over and get myself or my husband to hold his hand while he practices. These are a toy we will get several years of use out of.

Challenging but fun
Riverstones provide great indoor fun indoors for 2.5 year olds during winter. Helps their balance to improve. However, parents might need to encourage and perhaps hold child's hand during early days. Perfection and perfect balance at the beginning is less important than trying and laughing. Mom & Dad can try too.

Great play rocks for playing and thinking.
I love these play rocks and the fact that you can choose the palette. They're sturdy and make a wonderful gift for challenging little imaginations.

1 month out and still in love!
We use our river stones almost every day. They are a family favorite and get everyone (including mom and dad) involved in play. Name brand really is worth the extra money as they stick to every surface we've tried (laminate, cement, and carpet). They do not budge even with an adult jumping from stone to stone (I think the farthest jump we have on record is 7 feet for now).
