Not just stainless steel
I love this thing, its a bit heafty but that's alright for a big guy like I'm 6'4" and bulky. As for it being only stainless steel. READ THE CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICATION it specifically says its made from fully tempored A. U. S. 6 stainless steel wich is high carbon spring steel and is better in my opinion because you get almost as good benefits of high carbon steel plus the added benefit of easy maintenance as long as you take decent care of it, it will pretty much never get that tarnished.

i got the sword and i was very happy to see it was properly packaged so that either end would not get smashed through packaging or dented. this by far is my favorite sword in my collection.
