Sharp and stylish
I've owned and given these over the years. They are a great quality and have different regrets but they have increased in price sigdifficultly from when I first found them at TJ Maxx. They keep their sharpness and are a much appreciated gift.

If the blades didn't look so scraped up, this might have been a glowing review
UPDATE:I ended up keeping these knives, and after more than six months of use, I am upgrading them to four stars, with one caveat-- they definitely should not go in the dishwasher, not even without soap and note even on cold water only. I wash them only by hand and never soak the wood handles in water. That said, they work well and are nice looking and haven't developed any rust spots.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I wanted so badly to love these knives, and I haven't used them yet because I may return them.Things I don't care about (but you might):--- They are made in China, not France--- The bee looks flatter & more machined than other languiole bees I've seen--- The knives are very light weightThings I like:--- The wood handles are attractive & not too bulky--- The blades are serrated--- They are, overall, an attractive setThings I dislike:--- The blades & metal rivets are all scraped up and nicked as badly as other knives I've owned & used for years--- The combination of the scrapes, nicks, and the way the bee looks make me think these are absolutely machine-made and not hand-madeOverall, I paid $37 for four, and had I seen these knives fist, I'm not sure if I would have paid $10 a piece for them. It seems like I could find a set of 6, handmade, or at least made in France, for roughly the same price. Whether those listings are fraudulent, I'm not sure, but a reviewer on another listing said they found a set of 8 like these, made in China, for ~ $40. So the question is, are these marked up unreasonably? Or are they better quality than those other listings?

love the design and the awesome colors!
Bought these to go with the vintage silverware set I purchased and it's a perfect match! The design is very nice as well.

Will NOT cut
Wont cut hot butter. Maybe a bad set but do not cut well at all. Love the look and design, will return and try a different brand.

Color isn’t accurate
Color is off. “Neutral Tone” doesn’t look like in the picture it’s a pearly greyish white
