Looks like OEM and installs fairly easily in a 2010 RAV4
Unless your car alerts you that it's time to change the air filter, or the car dealership or whatever lets you know, this is now very easy to forget, compared to years ago. The service intervals are now much longer, and the ECM systems on modern cars can automatically adjust when there's less air to be had (because a dirty air filter is restricting things). It's also generally easier to replace many air filters now, because they're just held in with a handful of clips, and the housing is usually off to one side of the engine compartment.Anyway, in the case of the 2010 RAV4, the air filter replacement was mostly easy, and this aftermarket one replaced the existing one perfectly. I think it was actually a little harder to get the old one out. The only thing I had a problem with is that I knocked off a vacuum line that connects to the backside of the upper part of the air filter housing, and the car ran with this line disconnected, which caused some of the dashboard lights to come on. After I found the disconnected vacuum line and reconnected it, the engine ran better, but it took a couple of days before the dash lights automatically turned themselves off....So, in my experience, the trickiest part is to make sure everything under the hood is as you left it, after replacing the air filter. I guess I should add that I'm a little bit older, and my vision isn't as good, so that's probably most applicable.
